I don't consider myself a Thai food expert, but having visited Thailand 4 times, I can say i love it! We were staying at Noah's on the Beach and felt like something different for a feed. Years ago we had visited this restaurant, and as it is on the same block as Noah's, it was a short walk on a wet night. There's a great selection on the menu, and the Tom Yum soup was the best I've had. However we continued on with soft shelled crab and Mussaman curry, washed down with a good choice of beverages, including Thai beer. The service was efficient, attentive and friendly, and they seemed to be doing a roaring trade in takeaway as well, on this cold and wet Monday evening.A small, interesting venue - well worth trying if you enjoy thai food.

I first came here when they opened and gave them 5 stars .That was in March .Tonight im happy to say they have even improved on my last visit .The vegetable spring rolls were fabulous and Not oily ..And a generous serve .Next I had the stir fry of Cashew nut & Chilli jam with chicken .( could have had a bit more chilli ) so next time will ask for more to be added . And the very best steamed rice I have had in ages ( funny to comment on plain steamed rice ) But it was soooooooo good .What is nice about The Humble ,are the friendly faces when you walk in .Well done to the team who cook and look after you ..Hi PhillipWhen I read your comment , it sounds a bit of funny as you mentioned but rice is the important part for lovely meal. I strongly support your feedback. I am the person who enjoy so much steamed rice. It will make your meal even better. Thanks again for revisit us

For a restaurant atop a shopping centre Kinn ticks all the boxes without resorting to the food court genre we all know and love. This is affordable upper-market Thai food in a relaxed atmosphere served with crisp no-nonsense efficiency (and an occasional nod to the âland of smilesâ for which the country is famous). On this lunch-time occasion for entre we had the deep-fried tofu which was silken on the inside and served with a delicate sweet/hot sauce, and the pork ribs for main which albeit hardly a traditional Thai dish was smothered in a piquant sticky sauce, cooked to perfection and served with a perfectly dressed salad. Combined with some steamed rice and fresh cut chilli on the side, delicious.Weâll be back.

Dine in, takeaway
The pad Thai was really special from here but disappointed with the other dishes which were a little over cooked and over sweet. Would like to give the place another chance with different meal choices.

Secret Garden Asian Cuisine is probably the best Asian Bistro in Newcastle's inner city! Fanatical about fresh is best, we source fresh local seafood and seasonal produce daily and then prepares each delicious meal fresh to order!
We ate here today, this has to be one of Newcastleâs hidden gems, hence the name secret garden, itâs absolutely superb Chinese cuisine & steaks & fish if you so desire, all meals are prepared fresh onsite & all sauces made from scratch, you taste this immediately, the service was rather quick, the staff are friendly & the $ on meals are very good, we joined the club to make it even better value, this is a must try in Newcastle. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
