Visited on a Thursday night in a group of 6 the restaurant was full and with just one chef the service slow. The room is a bit small and dated however the food was excellent and more than made up for any shortfalls in other areas. Loved that it was a byob which saved a fortune- glasses provided and a shop opposite if you do not bring enough with you A great place to go for a relaxed meal with the best Thai food I have ever had .

Bow's Kitchen is discretely situated above the Wig & Pen pub in Margate's Old Town.We have all of the benefits of links with the pub, whilst being separated enough to allow private dining. We are a few minutes walk from the Turner Contemporary Gallery and
Family of four visited afternoon of 18 August, we had intended to eat at a seafood restaurant as by the sea but none offered alternatives and my youngest daughter does not like fish etc. We had walked all the eateries and were ready to give up, looked at the menu on the side of the âwig & penâ, stepped inside with three TVâs showing sports and wondered if we had made a mistake, we were hungry, so went upstairs, where we we greeted by a very friendly lady.It was also a bit of a gamble as our teenage daughters had not previously experienced Thai, although Indian and Chinese plenty of times, they were willing to give it a chance. What a hidden gem, we chose some mixed starters, then were assisted with choosing mains, all the food was cooked beautifully, with wonderful flavours youâd expect, we loved it, would definitely go back. All of us thought the curries, noodles and rice, along with duck pancake rolls were gorgeous, so tasty. Total bill £101, including starters, four mains, four sides, two glasses of wine, two beers, along with soft drinks.

We attended this restaurant which was at first difficult to find as itâs no longer called my Thai it was called something like Vietnamese .its in market street. The restaurant was very busy .The staff were all very friendly and appeared rushed off their feet and could probably do with a few more waiters to assist .We had tempura prawns to start which were delicious , then one Thai green beef curry and one green prawn curry, one egg fried rice and one plain noodle and four cokes .The bill for the food was 36,00 and the drinks 8,25,but when we added it up it was 28.00 for the food and 8.25 for drinks. It was a pleasant evening but we waited a long time for the mains. They had a lot of people coming in for takeaways and phone orders.we were given a table next to the bar which although looked beautifully carved at the base it was not a practical table for ding at as you had nowhere to put your legs.In summary the food was nice and reasonably priced had our bill been correct .they also did a set meal for around 18.50 which appeared great value but we didnât have it as you would have to go there very hungry.Overal a nice place but have been to better Thai / Vietnam restaurantsHello,Thank you very much for your feedbackI am sorry you encountered some difficulties and we will endeavour to rectify them forthwith. If you were overcharged by mistake, please accept our apologies, and if you can call in with proof of your order, we will gladly refund you any overpayment. The sign was actually temporarily changed by a production company who are making a Hollywood movie in the areathis weekend. All should be back to normal by Sunday.Warmest Regards,My Thai

Specialist Thai and Sushi Cuisine from a recognised Thai and Sushi specialist of Thai descent. There is nothing Thai that cannot be created for eating, from Noodle to Fish.
If you know you are going try to book in advance as it is always popular and seen people turned away.Friendly service. Will do best to accommodate. The food is delicious, cooked with flavour and always to perfection, ie: the Tamarind duck. You can alter the heat of your dish but if you like it really hot then hot is not hot and you need to express that to the waitress. Other wise great meal you wonât leave disappointed.
