Langkawi is a serene archipelago of 140 islands – only a few of which are inhabited. The largest of these is the eponymous Langkawi Island, which has UNESCO World Geopark status because of its richly populated (by wildlife, that is) conservation areas. The best way to experience these ecological wonders is from high above, on the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches above the rainforest. Cheekily-named Pregnant Maiden freshwater lake is a great place to take a dip or play keep-away with the kleptomaniac monkeys.

A small cafe offers a little bit of everything; from western to Malay cuisine.A relaxing place to escape from the scotching heat of island sun and enjoying warm and cosy ambience. Come and experience our hospitality.
What an experience. If you like food that kicks with flavour but is still complimentary to the basic ingredients Ko's amazing restaurant will fully engage your taste buds. We have been trying Malaysia's best dishes for the last two weeks but then came upon (by recommendation from our host Anis, a local) the Spicey Sea Bass in masak adam pedas. We also had some nice noodles and squid but frankly I was still gasping with pleasure as I added 20% to the meagre bill. That came to about £15 for two of us - with the tip. Amazing value , lovely guy, great food. Go there!!!

Me and my partner came here for a late lunch as we had just landed. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is inside and air conditioned which we were looking for. The food was delicious!!! We had a green curry with a side of vegetables and my partner had a pad Thai. Would highly recommend

Wan Thai suggests a Thai restaurant, but to us it was more Malay.Very clean, very smooth in its operation with friendly attentive staff.the food was enjoyable without being fantastic. The biggest criticism was the seafood fried rice where the seafood was dry and tough as though it had been cooked for sometime. Another good value meal

Pahn Thai Restaurant offers delicious traditional Thai cuisine in a wonderfully romantic setting on stilts over the emerald green waters of the Andaman Sea with a 500 million year old rainforest as a backdrop. Enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Matchinca
The restaurant is located within the Berjaya Resort Langkawi. You'd have to hop on the buggy as it quite a distance from the lobby. Reservations are essential. Well located but unfortunately it's showing it's age. Wobbly old furniture. Great menu selection with pictures. Staff are friendly but Service could be improved. It rained towards the end of our dinner and the staff are very helpful in issuing umbrellas. Overall experience was good though it would have been better

Besides the reasonable food prices and cheap drinks the atmosphere and the friendly staff is why this restaurant is one of our favourites. They have a large selection of meals and everything we have ordered is always delicious. Local dishes ate very cheap and good size portions.Plenty of parking available and clean bathroom on site.

To sum up our meal yesterday evening on 20.04.2019 - attentive (not too over the top) service, fantastic venue and a delicious meal.So we booked a table of 4 a couple of days before. Although The Pavillion couldn't fit us in on the day we wanted (we tried to book for the next day), they swiftly came back with a time a couple of days before. One of our group had actually been to The Pavillion two years before and absolutely loved it, so he had high expectations from when he was previously stayed at the hotel and ate at The Pavillion every night. We were shown to our table, which was just a bit too big for us, but the staff kindly offered us another table, which was perfect. Our group had a lot to catch up on and needed a more intimate table. The staff explained the menu to us, not rushing, and gave us plenty of time to discuss what we wanted. For the main, I had the spicy beef dish. I expected it to be a spicier (I asked for medium), but was not however disappointed. The beef was cooked medium rare and perfectly tender. The sauce was sublime. I gobbled it down and wanted more. My friends had the red snapped and massaman and were equally pleased with their choices. For dessert, the mango and sticky rice could not have been any better. Yum! Ripe, soft mangoes together with a sweet white sauce. The menu is fairly extensive. A lot of choose from, but you're given enough time to properly look through the menu. SO the damage. We had 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 desserts to share, 2 bottles of Chang, 2 gin & tonics, bottle of Gavi, and 2 glasses of Pinot red came to around £300 (split between 4 persons). It's a little on the high side in terms of Malaysian spend, but we have no complaints. The food, the setting and the amazing staff all come part and parcel of that price. Highly recommend this place. Thanks to all the staff at The Pavillion and also to the Hotel staff who are equally accommodating.
