Reviews on Thai food in Lamphun, Lamphun Province, Thailand. Located three hours south of Chiang Mai, the community of Lamphun is especially interesting to those intrigued by history. Founded more than 1,400 years ago, the town still has a beautiful temple and pagoda beautifully preserved from the past.

What a beautiful place! Had the place to ourselves most of the time. It's out in nowhere. The prices are high for locals. We had gourmet food and excellent service. Very friendly and appreciative of our patronage.Cost about US $20 for two. Excellent!!
Couldn't believe I was the only person there. Superb food. On the corner just past the temple. Two storey wooden building. Recommended by the owner of the Praya Inn, another superb place. Have a day away from Chiang Mai and come to Lamphun. Just like the Chiang Mai I knew 35 years ago.
If you eat pork, this is a great street foods outlet located in a market beside Queen Chamdhevi monument. There could be long queues since this is very popular among local for eat-in and take-out. Do not hesitate to try the sauce (dip) as it blended very well with newly fried pork.
This restaurant provide good dining environment with warm welcome, good food quality and reasonable price. It is located at corner of robmueang nai road not that far from northern gate of ancient city of lamphun. Recommended for trying especially pizza, beverages, and many thai food.
Ideally situated close to 'Wat Phra That Hariphunchai' temple. Plenty of comfortable seating and tables for dining. We had simple Thai meals and they were very good and not at all expensive. Coffee here is good too.Good air conditioning; the temperature inside was just right, and so welcome after touring the temple.Recommended if you're touring Lamphun. Now why is it called 'Lamphun Ice?Many thanks for leave us your review, That's mean a lot. The name "Lamphun Ice" is actually come from "Lamphun Ice scream". Then the customer keep calling in short "Lamphun Ice". After that our co-founder rename the restaurant as "Lamphun Ice" since then. :)

50 year ago our family opened the first restaurant in Lamphun, we wanted to share the finest taste of Northern Thai cuisine. Today, we have 3 restaurants located at (1) Ni Muang branch at Charoenrat Rd. Tambol Ni Muang, Lamphun (2) Doi Ti branch at Chiang
A popular restaurant among locals. English menu with quality photos and descriptions and thai pronunciation. The quality of the food is excellent and the restaurant clean. Recommend the Laab Mu (northern style minced pork), Tom Chuet Mara (gourd stuffed with pork in clear broth), Yum Pla Duk Fuu (fried catfish with sauce) and PlÄ thxd (fried fish with garlic and chili sauce). Restaurant atmosphere is thai style not catered towards tourist. But if you want real thai food go where the locals are. You won't be disappointed. TIP: order several items and share.Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We're glad to hear that you had good dining experience here. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Lamphun.
