Set in the heart of West Endâs dining precinct, Chop Chop Changâs is all about fresh, local produce. Our pan-Asian menu is reminiscent of honest âstreet foodâ fare found in temple stalls and hawker markets throughout Asia. Like good times, our food is bes

If you know your favourites and you're looking for a place where the staff are intuitive and kindly, try My Thai. With a traditional menu of satay, curries, sweet basil, our table was happy. Massaman curry disappeared first from share plate with garlic prawns a close second. Try the tapioca with sweet coconut cream for comfort food finish.

This is a great place to get fantastic fresh tasty Thai food. We eat here regularly and feel so lucky to have this restaurant in our area. The menu is extensive with lots of choices. Everything we have tried has been excellent but the Penang curry and Thai fried rice are our favourites and the chive pancakes and golden parcels are a great starter. The service is friendly and efficient, the ambiance is very Thai-style, and the price is very reasonable. A perfect place for a great meal.

Called in here to socialise with some friends. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We had fish cakes, vegetable tempura and Pie Kee something for entree. All were delicious. For mains we had stir fry vegetables with tofu, Massaman chicken and tamarind fish plus obligatory rice. Once agin all very tasty especially the fish. Followed by desserts of banana in coconut milk. We would have had Malaysian Coffee but it was not available so had jasmine tea. I hope I can come again next time I am in town.

Baan Thai is close to the War Memorial Hospital and located in Spring Hill. There is a small indoor / outdoor dining setting and given the warm night we enjoyed dinner outside. The staff were friendly and keen to assist. It is a BYO venue and we were able to take our favourite wines along to enjoy. The food options are good standard Thai.

Saturday night out with no real plan to eat ended up here. Not our usual choice for Thai. Place was very quiet...just one other table. Service was slow considering that. Just the attention to detail that lets the place down. Waitress was not attentive, started badly as she has to stand with her back to all incoming customers, wonder who thought that a good idea. Has nice Thai uniform on spoilt by trainers. Never offered us drinks or asked if we wanted any other than water. One of my pet hates is food not served to the whole group at a table, just uncomfortable when you have to wait 5 minutes for your partners food to arrive. More concerned with the small child in the restaurant that was obviously family. Cutlery and glasses miss matched on the table. Never came to check how the food was or asked us at the end either. ..... But don't let that put you off. Food was good tasty and hot and was value for money in line with other Thai restaurants as we are lucky in our area. With a bit more attention to service and detail this place could be a cracker. Could easily be a 4.5 - 5 with a few tweaks

Gala Thai represents a vibrant alternative to the authentic Thai and Asian restaurants in the area and is aimed at the discerning diner. The menu is consist of Thai and Asian signature dishes as well as a selection of vegetarian options.
We had a dinner there this week with three couples and I was disappointed as I had excitedly told my family that we were going to Trip Advisers number 1 restaurant in Brisbane. Our food was average. The barbecued pork was dry, tough and had little bones in it. My daughter who is a chef was unable to eat it. Overall none of us l had the special night wee had prepared for. We did like the electronic menus but somehow the restaurant made a mistake and tried to bring us out extra meals that had been duplicated from our order. Hello GenaC383, We wish to begin by thanking you for taking the time and effort to leave Gala Thai West End a review. We value our customers immensely and the feedback in which they provide helps us improve and excel as a restaurant. We were extremely sad to read your review, we pride ourselves on sourcing quality fresh ingredients and use local produce. We rely upon this to help create our extensive menu which we are very proud of. We apologise if you felt the quality in this visit was lacking. This is the opposite of what we aim to achieve as a restaurant. We look to provide our customers with an experience of great food, amazing atmosphere, and fantastic service. We would also love to gain more insight into what dish you ate, and also what dish that we bring you extra, trough this we can use constructive feedback to improve and progress. Siam Sunset situated in Kenmore is spicing up Brisbaneâs western suburbs with the most tantalising traditional Thai cuisine. The restaurant is beautifully appointed with stunning Thai artworks and interior design features. You and your guests will be serv
Enjoyed a mid-week lunch here recently. Not. Very busy at the time: service was good, food was served in a timely manner and the venue was comfortable. They have an extensive Thai menu with a good list of house specialties. For a coeliac such as myself, the menu clearly indicates gluten free options, and there is plenty of choice.Had an individual starter and shared a couple of mains. Servings were of a generous size.I had the Tom yum goong for starters: tasty but a little lacking in Ingredients compared to an authentic version.Mains were pork red curry and pay a salad: these were both good. The restaurant is licensed: we had a glass each if a good Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Prices were fair.
