Bei diesem Lokal handelt es sich im ein kleines Restaurant mit zusätzlichem Take Away. Ueber Mittag gibt es Menue mit dem Preis von Fr.17.50. Die Portionen sind fair und der Geschmack sehr gut. Für ein schnelles essen sehr geeignet und zum emofehlen. Oeffentliche Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Really impressed with this place. The food was fantastic, the prices were reasonable (for Switzerland!), and the service was both quick and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we ate twice here, and would come back if we lived in Lucerne!

Positives first: beautiful venue and interior design. I like the concept of cocoons inside a building. Colour concept and atmosphere are great. Menu looks innovative at first sight, but then, at a closer look, starts to exude confusion and unnecessary combinations. Nice collections of wines on the wine list. When the food arrived: they seem to have invested a lot of money in the crockery. Beautiful and unusual plates are in use. But here, this distracts from the food, and does not really support the design of the plating, actually on the contrary: it makes the plating look careless. I was underwhelmed by what was called Thai salmon carpaccio. Firstly this was not a carpaccio in my view, secondly it was cut haphazardly, lacked elegance and the ginger vinaigrette was weak. The rest of the meal continued down these lines. OK concept, but sub par execution. I have the impression that the young chef is trying to cook beyond his capabilities, which is a pity as there sure is potential. On a final note: it is way too hot in the dining room. I agree to not over air condition, but this was torture for both the diner and the staff. I asked the waiter and he answered that this was a common problem and that there was nothing he could do about it. Based on TA recommendation, we arrived albeit a bit late at 9.35pm (closing time 10pm) n only 2 choices available for takeaway. Without asking us, they proceed to wrap the larger portion food. I found out after paying that there is a smaller portion. I find this practice not ethical, taking advantage of tourists. The food is salty.
