Mai Thai is an authentic Thai restaurant in the centre of Oisterwijk. The cosy restaurant has 50 seats and a terrras. We serve mild and spicy dishes but the spiciness is standard at European level. If you prefer real Thai spiciness, than you get that offc

The food was nice enough but the spiciness had been dialled back far too much. Service was pleasant, but slow- for a Monday night. Had higher expectations from all the excellent reviews on here. Nothing to go out of your way for This Monday was unexpectedly extremely busy for a Monday and therefore you had to wait a little bit longer than our standards. Excuses for that. Spiciness is an experience whcih is different for each person. The spiciness of our dishes is at European acceptable level, otherwise we had only few customers. If customers prefer Thai spiciness, we add 5-8 x more red peppers, but only on special demand. For who prefers, we serve always Thai sambal (prik nam plaa) which you can add yourself.

We went here several times. It's nothing fancy, but the food is great, service is okay, and atmospehere is good.The menu is very extensive and the prices are very reasonable. I will come back for sure!Maybe a suggestion for dessert to have more variation, like fresh fruits.

We love good Asian cuisines, whether it be Chinese, Japanese, etc. But there is the USUAL stuff and then there is the wonderful surprise places where one wishes to go back again and again...this is NOT one of them. No complaints about this restaurant, but not worth a return visit for us.
