I was visiting a friend and decided to pick up dinner in Castro valley before heading back to my hotel in Oakland. I called this restaurant 10 minutes before closing. The owner happily took my order without any hesitation. I ordered the vegetarian fried rice and deep fried tofu. The tofu was cut rather large for my liking. Overall, the food was good and fresh.

Don't fly on Mission - you might miss them. RC accomodates and usually when the service is good, it is excellent. The turnover in the past year, has kind of put a damper on my rating them but it is still a really good restaurant. The item to avoid is the Pad Thai, it is not quite right but the rest of the dishes are above average to very exquisite. Order the spicier stuff, if you are into hot spicy dishes. You won't regret it. They could make them really spicy - if you wish. Pad Ma Kuer is my personal favorite. Enjoy.
We have visited here several times and I can't beleive that I have not reviewed it before. The food here is always great. The service is friendly and good. At our last visit we ordered the ribeye and salmon specials. Both were excellent with the unique Thai flavors we always get here. We have always enjoyed the regular Thai menu on previous visits.
