Welcoming service and pretty good Thai food. The only downside was the timing of food to come out. There were 2-3 couples in the restaurant but the food being served was quite slow. My partner had well finished his main by the time mine came out!

Spacious Thai restuarant with plenty of room between tables so does not feel crowded. Interesting decor - on border of tasteful and Asian tasteful! Very big menu with lots of traditional Asian dishes and some interesting taste adventures. The service was efficient, timely and the food hot, tasty and generous serves. We enjoyed satay and betel leaf to start and both were good then a simple green curry and some Koo-wa Gai noodles. The food was good quality and tasty, prices modest so in my exoeri nice a good middle of the road quality Thai. Not noisy so we could chat in comfort, plenty of families around and can manage large parties - one table had 14 when we were there.

We were regular customers until today. Girl at the front desk was extremely rude. Told us our table would be ready in 5 mins, came back and she had given it to another family because "they look like you". Extremely racist and unaccomodating. No apology whatsoever and ruined our planned family dinner. We used to go almost every week as a large family, not because the food is amazing, but purely because it is one of the only non-Korean restaurants in the area. To call it average would be a long shot- the seafood is often rotten and frozen so don't ever order. The rice is clumped together and the sauces disgusting at times. Even the staple chilli basil sauce is embarrassing for a Thai restaurant. The only thing they know how to do is fry food (tofu, ice cream etc). Very disappointed by the terrible service. Go elsewhere before you even step into this terrible restaurant.

To be honest, I'm surprised this place is still operating. We've given it a few tries, generally about a year apart, hoping it'll improve, but it never does. The service is hit and miss, sometimes ok, sometimes non-existent, the chairs are pretty uncomfortable, although some improvement since their reno, and as for the food, it's average at best, and terrible at worst. Some dishes were okish, but some bland and tasteless. So am thinking it's now, 3 strikes and you're out!!

After reading earlier reviews, I booked for 3 of us to guarantee we could eat before the show. Despite the queue for tables, our meals arrived relatively quickly (although not all at once, and the first main arrived quite some time before the rice). Serving sizes and prices were reasonable, as was the service - although we never received one of the drinks ordered but they tried to charge for it at the end. The penang curry was like nothing I've ever had before, more reminiscent of a satay, but I really enjoyed the lemongrass with more than a hint of chilli - just how I like it! The cashew and chilli dish was also good, and the servings of tea generous. I wasn't expecting too much given the location and peak demand, but notwithstanding the timing inconsistencies (at least we were sharing so could better make the most of things) I enjoyed the food and will likely eat there again next time I'm seeing a show at Olympic Park.

A first time user of this restaurant and I was very impressed with the speed, friendliness and quality of the food from this place.Probably some of the best deep fried calamari Iâve tasted. The crumb base had a definitive taste to it - a little like the zinger batter from KFC but without the chilli. Thought to insert holes at the top of the styrofoam to release the steam and keep the food warm and dry was an added touch greatly appreciated.Well done guys - weâll be eating there again.

This Thai restaurant is at a suburban location (North Strathfield), but is not your average Thai. A friend travels from Eastern Sydney for their green curry. We like their mussaman lamb (not always available, and not through online order) with rotees, and actually stopped ordering this dish in other thai restaurants because they just don't get anywhere near it. The "pla rod prik" fish comes with a sauce so delicious that we take it home to use it on random home cooked meals, it makes us feel like good chefs. The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is nice while the prices are pretty decent.

Went there last night after a huge day at Taronga Zoo - the food was incredible - great beetle leaf rare beef entree and wonderful chicken/prawns Tom Yum style and noodle lamb mains - we'll be back for sure - close to as good as SpiceIAm
