I had heard that Jazz Melody changed management, which appears to be true. I went to check it out last night and found the place clean and extremely friendly. I ordered Tom Yum soup and pad Thai noodles. I ordered the soup medium toward spicy heat and it brought plenty of spice. I enjoyed it very much, although you need a bowl to the side to discard all the lemongrass and ginger "wood chips." The pad Thai noodles needed a little more flavor, a bit of salt and chili fixed it up nicely. Again, the owners couldn't have been friendlier. It was my wife and I, but the two items could have easily fed another person and the price was less than $20. Oh yeah and they comp'd me a Thai Iced Tea. They have a lunch special for $6.75 that I intend to try soon.

This is literally a hole in the wall Thai Restaurant. A hidden gem located on a strip mall in a sketchy part of Bellflower. The service was friendly and food decent. Great prices, especially the Lunch hour specials. They could use a little fine tuning in the taste and flavor department. I orderes the Spicy Beef Salad. It was just okay. Beef was lacking the flavor, and very skimpy. They put too much lettuce to make it look like the portion is huge. The Chicken Basil was excellent. Its was tasty, basil was fresh. Portion was just right for lunch special. Service is good. Moderate price. Parking is small and could be very difficult during the lunch hour.
