Nothing wrong with the food, nobody got sick, and there wasn't anything egregious about this food. That being said, I found the food to be under seasoned for the most part and lacking personality. Red curry had little to no spice and sorely needed acid (lime) for depth of flavor. Crab fried rice was salty, and the Tom yum soup lacked character.Passable if you're craving Thai; hopefully there are better main line options.

The atmosphere, thereâs lights, the orchids placed strategically, and the delicious food make this a constant favorite haunt. My favorite is the drunken noodles and matcha ice cream. BYOB is easy as the state store is on the same street.

We love this place as the sushi is pretty consistently wonderful. Also, this gives us the opportunity for one of us to have sushi and the other Thai if the mood strikes, since Mikado and Thai Pepper are under one roof..

We frequented Thai Pepper many years ago and were excited to see it is still in business. It is now combined with a Japanese restaurant and is called Mikado Thai Pepper. We walked into a near-empty restaurant, which had us a little concerned. Menu reflects a place with an identity crisis: with Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Indian dishes. And that is on a short lunch menu! Went with Thai Basil Chicken and Spicy Noodles with chicken. We waited quite a while to be served, which was surprising given the short menu and that no one else was in the restaurant. But it was worth waiting for. Delicious food. The Thai Basil chicken dish was simply elegant with lots of different and delicious vegetables. Large portions. We will be back!
