Discover Restaurants offering the best Thai food in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Best known as the capital of Charlemagne's Frankish empire, today's Aachen sits at the juncture where Germany meets the Netherlands (the Dutch know it as Aken) and Belgium (where "Walloons" call it Aix-la-Chapelle). But Aachen's history goes back even further than 8th-century Charlemagne. Roman soldiers dating back to the 1st century AD cherished its hot springs (as did Charlemagne, who loved a good spa day just as much as the next guy). Aachen Cathedral, northern Europe's oldest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the city's main attraction.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating sushi at Best Friends. I was taken aback by how fresh the sushi tasted and how many options I was able to choose from. The restaurant also had a cosy and sweet ambience, nothing fancy but also nothing too casual, just family friendly and you could tell everyone around you enjoyed their meal. Would definitely recommend if you're craving for some sushi!

The Vietnamese people combined the best parts of the Thai, the Chinese, the Cambodian, the Mongolian and the French Kitchen and created incredibly delicious new dishes. We offer Vietnamese cuisine and also japanese Sushi.
Vietnamita English speaker waiter, translated the menu, made recommendation, duck curry, crispy, tender full of flavour, cooked perfect, sushi set also very fresh served with mango salad beautifully presented. The whole experience was very good. I recommend and if in town I will go back!

Lemongrass is not the cheapest or fastest delivery-service in Aachen but it might be the best.Their sushi menu is amazing, maki, sashimi, and many more.My favorite was the deep fried sushi, the best of two worlds ;)We also had a very good Thai-Curry.We will definitely order more from Lemongrass.

Started with some appetizers together with aperitif such as springrolls and wantan, but was not the best starter...don't order this. Next was much better. Pad Krapao, red curry, but the best was the Laab Phed...made with very crispy duck and very tasty. So overall good authentic food for reasonable prices.

We´ve been eating Thai food from the very beginning of it´s success story about 40 years ago when the first restaurants opened in Germany.Since then we´ve tried Thai food all over the world (mainly in Thailand, UK, Germany)Our amazing summary after half a lifetime: You find three of the best Thai dishes here at the Sukhothai (former Bangkok) restaurant perfectly cooked and even better than in Thailand:Jungle Curry (Waldpaste), outstanding tasty though hot (for unexperienced very hot) and always slightly different in its taste. You rarely find that dish in other restaurants (ingredients are not very common and for most people it´s too hot)Basil Chicken (Basilikum), a bit differently prepared than the usual Thai basil, hot, sometimes very hot, always excellentSoup Tom-Yam-Gai, in many restaurants you might find it either just hot or revealing a one dimensional taste. Here it´s much more, you have to try it once in your life. (If you don´t like it, then carry on with eating pizza and pasta)Most of the other curries and the Thai beef salad are above-average, too.Coktails are also to be recommended, the lunch menu offers a good value for money.Nevertheless the fried starters platter and the Massaman (untypically coming along with pineapple pieces) are a bit disappointing. However lots of people like that "sweet" Massaman here, but we don´t.A much better Massaman curry you´ll find at Freiburg (and of course other cities...), but that´s another story...
