Auberge de montagne située sur le tour des dents du midi ouverte toute lâannée avec dortoirs cosy...soyez les Bienvenus
Siamo stati a cena lassù a Mex paesino molto caratteristico e molto panoramico. La scelta non è vastissima ma il cibo è buono e ben servito. Siamo stati fuori nella comoda e bellissima terrazza in legno. Avevamo prenotato per un'altra cena ma un contrattempo ci ha tenuti in basso, nella valle.

The plates are just too big for the tables! As they had just received a 'promotion' of Gault et Millau to 14/20 (a strange system of evaluating, that is to say 23% below the top!), we thought it still was worth trying out. We had lunch in the "cold", not so attractive and small-tabled cafe.We were disappointed. We both had the menu of the day, which consisted of: Salade d'avocate et grapefruit rose a la citronelle, followed by Jambon cuit a l'os, jus reduit au Porto; gratinee de pommes de terre Mont d'Or; farcie de Poireaux, and for dessert was a Clafoutis aux raisins et noisettes. The wine was chosen from the open offering and was a Syrah 2010 "Henri Cruchon", which was very acceptable. The avocado, which was served in it's shell was almost tasteless and needed at least some salt, which was not on the table (no space!) and which we had to ask for. As Bex has a famous salt mine, it supposedly came from there. (When the waitress was asked, she did not know!).The ham was very dry and over-cooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The lady serving was very apologetic and the second portion was acceptable...but no more. The Clafoutis was bland (my friend took one spoon and rejected it) and needed to be at least a bit sweeter.Le vieux Prune after the meal at CHF 15 was the best part of the meal...even at that price! They are surely less than 23 % from the top!

We stayed one night at this hotel and restaurant and found it very accommodating. Staff speaks French and a little English. Room was comfortable and noisy at first, but restaurant cleared of people having drinks and it was quiet the rest of the night. Had dinner on the sidewalk café and the big plate of rosti filled me up. My wife couldn't finish her plate. Price was moderate. Breakfast was very good.

We were happy to find a restaurant open after 2pm in Saint Maurice. They were pleasant and served a nice fresh perch (tiny fish) with frites (french fries) at a very reasonable price.

Tradition restaurant, same direction for more than 30 years. Bistro just renoved, nice building built in 1906. Quiet and shady terrace. Season food, proximity. Fine choice of suppliers. Young and dynamic staff. Asparagus of Saxon, Vouillamoz family, Straw
Conveniently located across St-Maurice train station, Café de la Gare is the perfect location to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I had lunch in the Salle à Manger room which boasts a cozy and traditional charm.A huge thumbs-up to the owner - Mrs Lafarge - for the smiling and efficient service during the whole lunch. As I visited late November it was probably the last opportunity to enjoy venison dishes this year. As starter I chose the homemade venison terrine, which was very nicely presented and proved very tasty. The main course was ââCivet de cerfââ - venison stew served with all the trimmings: red cabbage, 1/2 pear, spätzli. Once again tasty and generous portion. As dessert I enjoyed the « Salée » - a tart specialty from the nearby Val dâIlliez. In high-price Switzerland the bill was surprisingly moderate. Amounting to CHF72 it definitely offers excellent value for money. An address to keep among my favorites!Thank you very much for your message, I enjoy so much to satisfy my guestsSee you soon

This is the second year weâve visited here, whilst staying at Whitepod. This is really the only restaurant option if you are staying at Whitepod. It is quite expensive, but the food and service are excellent. The atmosphere is cosy. The food is traditional Swiss food - the fondue is delicious.Thereâs a small play area for children outside. I would definitely recommend eating here and would visit again.Good evening, Is a great pleasure to welcome you every year, we hope to be level with each of your comings.Best regards,Cerniers & Whitepod Team !

Typical decor, cozy ambiance and delicious food! This cute restaurante treated us very well despite we didn't speak their language. Everybody helped us out! Food was fairly priced and it was walking distance from our hotel (Grand Hotel Des Bains). Thumbs up!

Only went for lunch. Book in advance. Probably 9-10 tables, not more than 30 places in all. Also has a bar. It's central, the food is great, the service as well. Only tried the daily menu, but never was disappointed (been there for more than 10 times in the past year). A meal comprising a large drink, soup, salad and main dish followed by coffee is no more than 25 CHF. Semi-old-fashioned but quiet and comfortable. Service is fast and food is simple but good.

Food was great and the owner was very welcoming. We went there for a quick break with friends coming back from verbier. We finally ended spending the whole afternoon outside in the sun having excellent food in the very scenic place (the mountains surrounding the restaurant). It was a great moment!

Nestled amongst the mountains, Le Refuge de Frience offers a cozy, warm respite from the rigours of the stunning natural beauty that surrounds it. Whether taking a break from the summer sun for a refreshing drink, or enjoying satisfying, traditional Swiss
My wife and I had an impromptu dinner at this excellent mountain restaurant where the food and wine was excellent and highly recommended. Moreover next to the restaurant a swimming lake has been created with a lively beach, bbqs and beautiful views. Well worth a visit and free entrance. It will be a great pleasure to welcome you and your wife at your next visit.
