This restaurant is well located within the center of Nyon, near all shops and major attractions.Staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. We had a Coquelet rôti (roasted cockerel) and it was excellent with a delicious sauce and home-made fries.Would come back without hesitation!

Last Saturday we had dinner at the Café Restaurant l'Union in Bursins. The Entrecôte aux morilles was delicious, served in a creamy morel mushroom sauce. Served with side vegetables and a green salad. Delicious local wines on offer, including a surprisingly good local Chasselas. Great friendly service. Would return.

Réunis en famille pour un repas du soir, nous avons apprécié le cadre sympathique sans prétention de l'établissement. La terrasse est très accueillante, le service correct et la cuisine est bonne. Un endroit agréable à recommander.

Unfortunately we came later than expected and at 14h40 got told that the kitchen was closed, the chef had left and that they close the restaurant in 20 minutes! ie we were not welcome anymore and did not get even one quick Malakoff served!! This is why and what I “ love “ of Swiss hospitality and service. Thank you very much mr Marguerat. I hope this is not what you remember of EHL accueuil we got taught...So I recommend not to come to this place after 2 pm if you want to get served anything. Sorry to write and say so. Very disappointed.Dear Sir,We are sorry for the misunderstanding but in general in Switzerland the kitchen closes at 2:00 pm. However if we have some remaining customers, we will serve you as we are not in a post office... so we would have served you if we were in a busy day. It was not the case that day. So the restaurant closes at 3:00 pm (last order at around 2:00pm) and we reopen it at 5:00. As we are not in a city centre, you will easily understand that it s not worth to open all the day. We do non-stop service only on Sunday. I hope we will have another opportunity to welcome you again in our restaurant.Best Regards,Laurent MargueratManager

After a pleasant dinner at the Auberge de la Réunion in late July, we returned twice for dinner. Alas, the two more recent dinners were pretty dismal experiences. The first time was with a veal kidney dish as main course - dry and overcooked, and over-seasoned. For the most recent dinner, I ordered 'Filet de féra gratiné' - a dish which had been very good at the dinner in late July. This time, the cook might have taken a time out when preparing the dish - the fish was overcooked, and the sauce had solidified completely. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she called the manager who explained that this 'was normal', as the dish was 'féra gratiné' (sic). I didn't eat much (though it ought to be acknowledged that the manager realized I was not happy and offered to bring another dish). when we asked for the bill, I noticed that the bottle of wine had been overcharged by CHF2.- I signalled this to the waitress, who adjusted the bill, but without saying a word let alone apologizing.. Won't return.Hello Sir,Of course we are sorry for disapointing you the evening in question. We still believe that we can surprise you with a good diner if we have the chance to welcome you again in our restarant. Best regardsH. Krasniqi

We're regulars at the Auberge, taking advantage of its delicious Menu du Jour offer. In the summer you can soak up the rays on the balcony, whilst in the winter you'll always find a comfortable seat inside. Well priced, delicious food, great atmosphere, attentive and professional staff... what more could you ask for?

Sitting nicely on the village edge the Auberge looks over the Chateau Vineyards.I can imagine in summer the terrace area would be packed as you couldn't find a better vista.The service was exceptional & the fixed menus whilst expensive were beautiful.For starter we had lasagne with a lobster bisque sauce ( with generous pieces of lobster) followed by the classic of 'Filet de Perche). The actual perch were some of the best we have had..... golden brown & larger than normal.Finally a Creme Brulee which I must say tasted like a real English custard !!! Bravo.

Fantastic meal last evening with our family. Fantastic. The restaurant was busy but the service was nevertheless attentive and excellent. As usual the food was top. The “little Perche du Lac” were particularly good. Overall, a fantastic fantastic meal and evening.

The restaurant de la plage is my favorite for the fillets de perches.Served in 2 services , perches filets in butter lemon sauce with french fries...Reasonable price Reserve your table it can be very crowed of customers...Bon appétit...

I was taken here for lunch recently by Swiss friends. They have a good selection of seasonal fare as well as fish from the lake (Lac Leman). It is advisable to book and in good weather one can also sit outside. It is open both for lunch and in the evening and very popular indeed, with both locals and with those from further away. It was packed when we went, but fortunately we had reserved a table.Polite and helpful friendly staff who are also able to recommend various dishes. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
