A traditional Swiss House dating back to 1922 with wood panelled walls and ceilings in both restaurants.
The service was excellent and the cheese fondue ok...but the bread cubes were made from very mediocre bread that had a soft crust. The price was high for cheese fondue, about $35.00 per person.

We used to go very frequently to this restaurant when it was run by Chef Armin Amrein. In those days, it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, since last year, the chef at Walserhof changed. We went for lunch some days ago. To start with, we were given no amuse-bouche (only plain bread and butter. For a Michelin star restaurant?!). Our appetizer (castagne soup) was pipping hot, not something you serve to a client and impossible to drink for a while. Our main courses were: their gourmet burger (which came with the meat quite raw and looked uninviting) and, for me, mushroom risotto with venison. Although I asked for well cooked venison, no only it arrived bloody but was incredibly hard to eat. The risotto was watery and had little taste. When we pointed out both our dishes were too raw, they took them back and they bought new dishes (as it should be done). But the taste of the new dish was very bland anyway. I left without finishing my main course. Maybe they had a very bad kitchen-day that day, but it will be a while before we go back.

For more than a hundred years in the wynegg has housed and fed guests from all over the world. The hotel experienced the beginnings of winter tourismus in Klosters, the upswing due to winter sports and has since then been a place in which guests and local
We were a large group and were greeted with a friendly smile and seated immediately. The waitress spent some time explaining the menu which consisted of local favorites as well as some French and fusion dishes. I mentioned my gluten issues and when she brought bread to the table, she also brought hot gluten free bread for me. Everything we ordered was delicious. the ratatouille was different and savory, the steaks were perfect and to top it all off, the ice creams were amazing. No one had a bad meal. Can't wait to go back.

This is not just a wood cottage above Klosters: a real dream in wood with a great event infrastructure, several saloons and a great wine cellar with an impressive unique long table to host elegant dinners with larger groups.

I was on a ski weekend with my wife, and we had an overnight in St. Antonien which really is stuck up on a mountain road and quite removed. All the quaint was discovering the Rhatia which is a hotel with resatuarant. My wife and I enjoyed the cordon bleu and appel strudel with vanilla sauce was perfect.

Gasthaus Bargis has got even better with the same warm welcome from Erika and her team. The restaurant was packed mid-week with a great atmosphere, and the food such as Chäsgätschäder are delicious. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. Highly recommended.

After holiday hiking we took a rest at this wonderful restaurant. I ordered a nice cold wheat beer (Weizenbier) on tap and salsiz, which is a local raw sausage in thin slices. So tasty! The restaurant also offers more than 20 different types of rösti and other local specialities and you can also order a half portion for most of the dishes. Will come back soon. Besides, the service staff was native and very decent.

We were recommended this hotel by a bespoke tour guide we used (Ultimate Drives) who put this down as one of our lunch stops during a 7 night driving tour. The views, quality of food, service and value for money were world class.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this in or out of season, the veal schnitzel I had was simply to die for.Enjoy
Ate dinner and breakfast here while staying overnight as we hiked the Via Alpina red trail. Dinner was the same for all of us paying for 'half pension.' It was excellent, and we were given plenty (family style, at a shared table with other guests). First a mixed salad. Then the entree: a HUGE pork chop, with sauce, potatoes and bread. Dessert had berries, ice cream, sauce and whipped cream. The dining room is very traditional and pleasant. The server was superb. Breakfast included a few items to choose from, but was very fresh and good.
