Don't waste your time going to popular places if you want a good quality fondue. I made a reservation on my birthday to my wife and my little girl and the reception was quite exceptional. Good environment (very classic), good service and good food. A little bit pricey but it worth the value to be honest. I do recommend.Renato, thanks for rating us. It has been a lot of help. The Matterhorn Restaurant is a little corner of Switzerland. Tucked in above their Emporium, the restaurant appears to be a Swiss Chalet. With live music by an accomplished pianist, the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. The restaurant offers a selection of fondues from cheese, cold cuts, or meat to chocolate. The service was very good. If you want good fondue in an excellent restaurant, this is the place.

The restaurant can be classified as bad, both interns of bad taste decoration and horrible taste food. Service is extremely slow, food is awful. A place not worth visiting. The REstaurant Crocodile, just across from the street, belongs to the same owner and is equally bad with the additional point that it doesn't accept payments by credit card.

I had a very pleasant lunch at the Rostie. We ordered the rodizio de fondue, which is pretty much all you can eat. First they brought us a basket with bread and a couple of hummus. Then he bought us the meat, cheese and potatoes with about 6 different types of sauces for us to dip the meat. After that they brought us the fruit fondue (could have been presented a little better on the plate). It came with apple, grapes, strawberries and bananas to dip in a DELICIOUS chocolate. I strongly suggest this place. It is romantic and the environment is very cozy specially on a rainy day.

We stood 4 days in Campos do Jordao and went twice to Coquelicot. The first one was at lunch - fair price, good food - chicken and parmeggiana. The second, at dinner, we had crepes and omelete - and this time was a bit disappointing.

We went there with great expectations following some reviews. The setting is comfortable, including a fireplace. Service was slow. Food was fine, but not especially tasty or inventive. Dinner generated at least a major story to pass along: by the end of the meal, a spider got down from somewhere directly to the wine glass of one of our friends (who happens to be a wine specialist...). Of course, no one could guess from where it came, the glass was changed, etc. That was a first for us.

Chegamos para o jantar ainda com o restaurante que é pequeno mas, acolhedor e de bom gosto com lugares a escolher. E logo fomos atendidos com muita simpatia pelo Raniel. Música ambiente em altura ideal para se conversar. Pedimos truta e um contra file que vieram em otimas apresentações e sabores. O gerente veio na nossa mesa se certificar se os pedidos vieram a contento e se estávamos gostando. E nesse dia tinha promoção chopp duplo. Banheiros perfeitos e preços justos e, como atenção sempre é bom, vamos com certeza não só recomendar, como voltar da próxima vez.
