Fish and chips blev det och den var god. Helt ok storlek på portionen. Lokalen och ute är dock tråkigt. Halvstressad personal. Tar inte kort.

We had an excellent lunch sitting outside last weekend? The service, setting and ambience were great. The löjrom starter (Bleak roe) was delicious, and the fish stew of crab, salmon, prawns, mussels and crayfish was incredible. We would return again and again.

On a windy day at Kylen it was very nice to sit down and was brought very nice food and a very good redwine. Smiling swedes and a view toward the sea and the sunset - We didn't complain!

This is a lovely restaurant in a wonderful location. You eat on a veranda over the water's edge, alongside a channel between the main island of Tjorn and the tiny island of Haron. The channel is used by lovely boats, mainly sailing boats, which give an ever changing vista, plus Arctic terns diving for their supper!The food is excellent. we ate there 4 times; twice for lunch, and twice for dinner. All meals were excellent, and, as mentioned in previous reviews, the "Herring Six Ways" starter was stunning.Service was very good and welcoming. You have to take a short ferry ride from Tjorn, but it is very easy and frequent, and the staff of Magasinet make sure you are not left on Haron overnight!

Iâve been here before a couple of years ago albeit in the late autumn. Being here in the summer is a totally different feeling. The only thing thatâs the same was the quality of the food and service. We had a set menu, a bit surprised that this was the only option. To this we took the drink package that complemented the food perfectly. The service from the personnel was friendly and courteous. The best thing though is the setting for Salt & Sill, nothing compares to the Swedish archipelago.

First visit was a real treat with great tapas and fantastic service. Second time was a true disappointment. The tapas was still good but the whole experience was ruined by the lady who is one of the owners. Short and sarcastic tone, even to my friends 11yo daughter when she went to pick up the order slip for us. I overheard the conversation between them but he 11yo could answer for herself. The actual bar area is not very large and when we went inside to pay she tells us to âmove so that the man can get the beer he has paid forâ at that point I almost refused to pay for dinner myself. It is a pitty that someone who can not handle people at all is fronting the business while the social person is in the kitchen. I was hoping that I would become a regular here, this will not happen as long as she is there which is a pitty because as I said, the dishes are great.

We tried this restaurant on vacation in Tjörn. The wine list is good, service is professional and friendly.The only complaint is that the two main course of fish were too cook. On the dry side.The grilled beef however was good.The view is splendid. There was kids jumping in the water from a big rock in the middle of the bay.Nice spot.
