Eating brunch at Kärnhuset restaurang was a nice surprise. I was not aware that they are serving brunch on Sundays and thus, the visit to the shop extended to a visit to the restaurant as well. The restaurant itself is not big, but divided into two medium sized rooms, with beautiful views over the gardens. It is simply decorated, clean and with enough space to move between the tables. Staff is also professional, friendly and helpful. The brunch includes the food, the drinks/coffee (take away coffee as well) and desserts and fruits. Although we did not have a reservation, as soon as we entered we paid for the number of guests and then chose a table. The table with the main dishes is in one dining room, while the desserts are in the other room. There is no much on offer, but one portion does fill you up quickly. The only negative about this place is the price for the brunch, which is 199 Swedish crowns per person. For what is on offer, the price is a little too high. Although the whole experience was lovely, I would say that there are other places which offer better prices and more variety.

Nice cafe right by Kiviks Musteri, especially for apple lovers. Fair enough, they had other stuff as well but the theme was definately apples. Lovely garden and great view of the water. A bit pricey for the size and quality, but over all good.

Stayed for a Saturday night.Good beds, limp towels, great location for a morning swim. Do not expect a double bed but rather two singles (a twin scenario) put together when booking a double room with sea view - this was good for me as I travelled with a friend. Maybe not so good if you're bringing a hot date ...The view is unbeatable, the location is very nice as is the hotel and the verandah. Breakfast included "make you own waffle" and raspberry jam with cream - this is where I press "like".However, the hotel has no night staff so if your neighbours decide to play guitar and sing at 01 am you will have to sort that issue out on your own - or stuff your ear plus further in.

We would never have found this place if we hadn't been recommended it by friends. It is located high above Kivik harbor and hidden away. Not very well advertised which is a shame. It is a hotel and restaurant. We went there for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the terrace which offers a fantastic view of the sea. There is a lovely garden below the terrace as well. Friendly service, good food, reasonably priced lunch. Our only complaint was that the food was served luke warm, would have tasted even better if it had been hot. The fish soup serving was quite small, which was fine for me, but someone with a larger appetite would not have been satisfied. It varies though, because the veal patty with mashed potatoes was a much larger portion.

My mother, her dog and I went to this cute cafe today after visiting Stenshuvud. The courtyard is so lovely, with tasteful and comfortable furniture and absolutely gorgeous flowers. The cafe offers salads, sandwiches and great cakes. My mum had the best latte since in Skåne and both of our sandwiches were delicious! The only thing bringing down the grade from 5plus was the service being quite slow. They need to speed up a lot.

We had their Matrundan weekend seafood buffet (May 31) which was excellent and a great value. We returned for dinner the following night and were greatly disappointed. The food arrived different times with the last dish not arriving until the other had finished eating. This might be attributed to the large tasting buffet being held upstairs, but still not acceptable. We've eaten here at other times when it was excellent.Great location and will give them another chance as anyone can have a bad day.

This is within walking distance of Agda Lund B&B. We booked at the last minute so could only get seating in the outside area/extension area covered in plastic, but it was warm enough with the heaters. Would have been more pleasant in the main restaurant, so book ahead. Food was not bad, some interesting vegetarian options. All in all, pretty OK.Thank you and hope to se you again!
