We were invited with a group for lunch on a Wednesday at Hovdala castle restaurant. We were a group of 10 people. The food on the buffet was fresh and very good. One side of the table was herring and Jonssons Temptation (a warm potato and herring dish). The other side was all kinds of salads, vegetables and beans (good for vegetarians. Two kinds of very good bread were available. When we got to the warm food, there was meatballs, chicken, pork roast, sausages, and potatoes au gratin. The only thing that seemed "missing" for us was cheese. The lunch buffet includes coffee and cookies at the end of the meal. There is also a café at the end of the building that serves sandwiches, cakes and coffee. One can also take a tour of the castle (during the summer every day except Monday at 2pm - in Swedish). There is also a nice gift shop.

Nice place with plenty of places . 2 dishes to choise and ther are also vegetarian food . Not so long frpm the center of the town.

La pizza é semplicemente divina! Mangiare una pizza cosà buona in Svezia é molto, molto difficile. Peccato solo la location un pó datata e di fatto unica nota stonata del locale. Chiudete allora gli occhi, ascoltate il sottofondo di musica italiana e gustatevi un´ottima pizza, tutto il resto passa...!
