We love sushi and have come to love Zen. There are several sushi places on LBI but Zen is the best and has a great atmosphere, excellent service and extensive menu at prices youâd expect for a good Japanese restaurant. The menu offers many selections beyond sushi for those who prefer cooked entrees. We find the presentation of the dishes creative and there are always special rolls that are interesting and varied. Reservations are recommended if you go on a weekend as they get jammed pretty quickly.

Iâve been coming to Little Sumoâs since it opened and it is the best sushi around. Itâs a small place same strip mall as Little Dipper, right across from Northside Liquor store. For people in Surf City, itâs an easy walk or a short ride on the bikes. They are skilled and wonderful sushi chefs, using traditional ingredients but also including locally sourced products to make great daily specials and special menu items. There isnât really seating, except for the sushi bar, which I ave never used, but it does look like a great place to sit and yell Omakasi! And let the chefs do their thing. I normally get a mess of sushi, including a platter and a bunch of special rolls to feed a house full of sushi eaters. It takes a bit to get these hand made treasures, so youâll want to order ahead and pick up. Change it up from the traditional seafood place and grab some sushi. At Little Sumoâs.

Welcome to your Beach House! Daddy O restaurant in LBI boosts a chic, modern and comfortable interior located only one block from the beach in a vintage seashore styled boutique hotel. The Restaurant menu offers American comfort food with modern creative
My sister-in-law decided this was the place to take her âBirthday Girl Sisterâ and I for an early birthday celebration for my wife. Absolutely fantastic rooftop bar with views of Brighton Beach that you wonât find anywhere else in that section of LBI. Took me 25 minutes of reviewing the menu to decide what I wanted. Not only do they have a full traditional fare menu, they also have a promising sushi menu. In the end, I was absolutely flabbergasted by the deliciousness of the Seafood fra Diavolo . From what I could tell, in sampling a few other plates at the table, thereâs not a bad thing you can order! That being said, The shishito peppers are an absolute must as an appetizer.Clamjuice! What a fun handle! Thank you for the wonderful review. We love those shishito peppers too and the Chef is proud of his Fra Diavolo. Thanks again and we hope you join us soon!
