I was visiting a friend who was hospitalized close by. Since my town has no decent Chinese take out I decided to stop by. Wow the food was great. It is 30 miles of rough ride from my home to Yummy but I will make the trip.

3 sisters had a delightful dinner. Abundant choices. Very fresh. Can't wait to go back. Maybe lunch today - reasonably priced.

Unicorn opened within the last year. They serve hibachi and traditional Japanese food. My wife and I love to go there for the early bird specials from 5:30 - 6:30 where you can get very inexpensive appetizers and drinks. There is a large selection of appetizers for $3 or $4 and beers at $3. The portions of the appetizers and good and a couple can easily have plenty to eat ordering 3-5 appetizers. The staff (especially Manny) try very hard to make customers happy and satisfied. We have also eaten there during regular houjrs and find the food quite good.

I was curious and excited to visit this establishment after reading consistent raves about it on social media, and I must say they absolutely held up. For starters, it's a bright, inviting, roomy restaurant...organized and amazingly clean/sanitary! We came for the "buffet" which is not in usual style. You are provided with two pieces of paper and a pen. Here you are encouraged to check off both hot and cold foods you'd like to try and they process the order. So while it does have a buffet-esque feel in that regard, you actually need not ever get up from the table. The servers process the order and bring your food to you. There is an eye-opening wide selection of foods (especially considering it's "all-you-can-eat!) Lots of different specialty sushi rolls and even the usually pricey single pieces of tuna, salmon, mackerel, etc. We were certainly quite impressed with the dishes offered, unlike similar places that have a fixed price and who only offer the amateur boring basics such as a California Roll and Cucumber Roll. Of course you may order the aforementioned, but there's plenty else as well. Plenty! There are also a wide array of tasting dishes you can order from the hot foods menu. Everything from fresh, tender beef to salmon, chicken made in about 5 or 6 different ways, tempura, vegetables, shumai and so on. Even dessert (limited menu, but by that time who cares?) The service was surprisingly friendly (not for nothing but often times in Asian run establishments I find the servers to be aloof and cold) and consistent. Each dish comes on individual plates/platters even if it's just a couple pieces. I love this method and it makes it easy to differentiate between the various orders. Empty plates are cleared expeditiously. There is no pressure here to turn tables over quickly and no dirty looks when you wish to order more. You eat until you are satisfied and the price stays the same (with the buffet deal, anyway at a mere $22/pp). I only hope the owners seriously ingest the recent feedback and not change! (e.g. raise prices, get ahead of themselves, grow a ridiculous ego---see "Gilligan's" which happens to be right around the corner. I went from it being one of my favorite restaurants to never going there again due to the fact that they got way ahead of themselves ego-wise.)This is a great testament to how Americans in particular like to be fed, and they play the game by all the rules and do it well. Even though I am more than a hop, skip and jump away (about 25 minutes drive) I will definitely be returning here. Not to be missed!
