After reading all the good reviews we found the food way to salty in flavor. Ordered the two for one dinner with shrimp and scallops and we each got two scallops and five shrimp. The noodle and rice portions were large. The beef gyoza reminded me of the frozen ones I buy. When we left the restaurant two workers were right outside the entrance door smoking.

We used to come here regularly about ten years ago and thought a meal here would be good for old time's sake. Wrong. The two dishes we ordered were clumsily preparedand almost gross. My husband ordered Squid stir fry with vegetables and hot sauce. It came on top of a buried mound of rice and some rice noodles. Not only that, but there were mussels and shrimp in the dish. In this case it was fine, but some diners are allergic to shellfish. He would have preferred all squid. I ordered the H.O.T. Bento Box: Tempura thickly caked in batter, overly sweet chickenteriyaki, industrial seaweed salad, shumai, and gyozas. Portions are generous and prices are low. Therefore its appeal to students is understood. But for us, never again!

This about 1 month old restaurant is located on Route 9, (or Russel Street) in front of the Big Y shopping Plaza. Excellent Chinese food)
The restaurant is quite large and often crowded, so we prefer to eat at the bar, insuring that your food will be ordered right away and served promptly. Although you can order the "usual suspects," There is quite a variety of more authentic dishes, often using fresh local produce. While the dishes we had were quite good, particularly the dumplings in chili oil, don't rely on the heat ratings. Both our lamb dish and noodles were indicated as spicy, they were actually quite mild. Next time we will ask to amp up the heat. As a plus, drinks are cheap. A sizable Hendrick's martini was under $10.
