The big deal about this small Japanese restaurant is that it's next door to the Princeton Record Exchange, one of the few remaining large record stores. The crabmeat sushi I had was fresh, although they were a little stingy with the crabmeat. Just this and a green tea set me back over USD20 including tips. I probably wouldn't fight to find my way back unless I was visiting the Princeton Record Exchange again.

I found a Groupon for this place & decided to give it a try. WORTH it. We had a beef appetizer (cooked) & my b'friend (the picky eater) loved it!The Kani salad was good, & the sushi was fantastic. Not over done w/ the rice, & no skimping on the good stuff. My b'friend had a chicken dish (I wish I could remember what...) & he loved it, said it was way better than many of the other places we have ordered from. Coming from the picky eater, this is a good thing! We got another Groupon, so we will def. go back but even w/o the Groupon, they are reasonably priced. ESP. considering their location. North of the Princeton Shopping Center in a shopping center right off 206 (behind the Burger King) Almost directly across the street from the airport. Out of our way but good enough to make the trip.

One of the worst sushi and Japanese food I've ever had. The sushi was warm especially the tuna and salmon rolls. The tuna and salmon were puréed instead of being whole pieces. There was a breaded chicken appetizer that was lukewarm and tasteless. The squid with barbecue sauce was inedible due to the cartilage. The chicken udon soup was bland. The green tea ice cream was okay. It gets one star from me because the decor is nice. The Chinese restaurant in Hillsborough has better sushi and udon. I've been to the sister restaurant of Mori sushi and it was considerably better.

This restaurant has gone through several owners in the recent past. It started out excellent then was sold to someone who ruined it. Recently, we heard it had yet another new owner and had recovered its quality. We ate dinner with five friends. The dishes ranged from simple Chinese wok stir-fried to sushi. Four of us were outright disappointed; two thought it was average; one abstention. Won't go back.

This store front restaurant has well-spaced seating and is decorated with pretty, well-lit, wall-hung parasols and carved stone ornaments. My wife and I both ordered the Negimaki beef bento and were well satisfied with the taste. It consisted of six smallish beef rolls wrapped around delicious, soft, piquant scallions in a lick-the-plate sauce. The rice, California rolls and sugar snap pea pods that accompanied them were also excellent though a serving of edamame was uncooked and had tough leathery pods. The miso soup starter was delicate and filling but the somewhat odd tasting beaker of hot tea took some getting used to. At $30 for two the lunch was pricier than most and the portions were not large but I'd give this place another go.

Went last Saturday for our second time. The first time was excellent and shortly after they opened but I forgot about this gem. We started with drinks in the bar. Great cocktail menu and I love the atmosphere. We moved to a table a little while later and ordered 3 appetizers, wonton soup, a fancy sushi roll and 2 dishes. Everything was great. The table thought the wonton soup was the best they've ever had. My favorite was the duck salad and the ribs. The only thing I wouldn't order again because it just wasn't memorable was the miso Chilean sea bass. They need 2 things......a happy hour special menu would attract a nice crowd and use the outdoor patio in the summer!! Can't wait to go back. @adventuresindining (insta)
