We stopped here driving back from the Shrine in Manorville around 3pm. Quite and empty except for a painting party in the back room. We love good sushi and I seek out rolls without rice. Their sushi chef was very accommodating and enjoyed the challenge of creating two rolls without rice. Delicious and much appreciated by me. My husband had the sushi lunch special and found it a bit blah. Typical California and Philadelphia rolls in the mix. Unimpressed. Their Kani salad was very good. They have a large party room and large outdoor seating area overlooking a pond. It was not crowded the day we were there but it looks like the place can hold a big crowd. The ambiance was nice, modern and clean. The service was spectacular and we truly appreciated the ability to accommodate our special request.

Mikado Sushi & Hibachi is an exquisite Japanese restaurant with a captivating and modern design that guarantees you a memorable dinner with your family and friends. Whether a fully catered party or an evening dinner, we hope to see you soon at Mikado.
Most decent seeming place for lunch while doing errands in this town. Chinese management. Well appointed, spacious restaurant. Graciously turned down sound system. Standard Japanese fare. Decent shumai (probably frozen), good sized portion of edamame. Sushi assortment all fresh, reasonable size portions. Green tea served lukewarm. Table soy sauce had slightly peculiar taste (low sodium).
