We stopped here for coffee, tea and a bathroom break during our visits to the snow monkey park. On the second day, they were super nice to call a taxi for us to take us to the Yudanaka station.

I was here 3 years ago with a group of friends, this time it was "solo" visit. Again, the experience was excellent, the quality of the food and the service were great. Fresh seafood, perfectly presented. I do recommend when you are visiting Iiyama.

The hosts will walk you through the system. Wait until a table is ready, they will call your number. All sorts of food will go passed your table, but the treat is- if you don't see something you want, order it on the screen and it gets delivered by a mini shinkansen (bullet train). Kids and husbands love this. Make sure you click the ok button after you have received your dish so the train can go back to the kitchen. Once you are finished, use the keypad to finalise the bill and a host will come quickly and organise that for you. It's efficient, reasonably priced and fun. There is also chocolate sauce covered chips!
