I thought I had eaten the worse sushi ever in the Publix shopping center in Indian Harbor until I encountered this dump. I don't mean to insult dumps but this place is the PITS. It's dirty and dingy. I ordered a spicy tuna roll, JB roll and the tuna tower. The tuna was not fresh. I knew right away something was wrong. There was zero pride taken in the preparation or the presentation. Usually these Sushi/Thai places can get by with minor problems because the service is outstanding. Not in this case. The server/cashier/ prep cook sat and watched television completely unresponsive completely oblivious to the patrons she was not even Asian. I am sure she hates her job and everything but just a smidge of minimal interaction would have been nice. You may ask why I did not leave one star as this pathetic excuse for a sushi restaurant deserves it. Well? I am feeling magnanimous today.

Brought the family 03/16/19 after driving down from Savannah. We love Thai food and I'm always looking for great tom yum goong soup. The soup here was good... not great, but good with nice taste and spice. Everything we all ordered was good. Nice and hot. Several of us had pad Thai with different 'meats' and heat. There is a choice to have pad Thai made with rice noodles or rice. All of us opted for the rice noodle pad Thai.My son in law had sushi (hosomaki combo) which is also available at Thai Thai II. A pretty substantial selection of sushi dishes, rolls and soups etc. There is also beer, sake and some house wines available The menu is much more extensive that what we had. For some reason we all seemed to want almost the same thing, which I am thankful for since I was picking up the bill and the pad Thai isn't all that expensive.

Had a Groupon for a dinner for two. First of all we were seated at a booth (early Saturday evening) and were expecting the Hibachi table, but, nonetheless we decided to go ahead anyway. Secondly, the silverware had dried food on the fork. Thirdly the steak was not tender and had gristle and fat and far too little veggies and definitely not hot enough. Fourthly, the server's child was there running up and down the restaurant (one of my pet peeves when trying to have a conversation and a quiet dinner). Fifthly, the guy facing me at the next table, ate and then proceeded to clean his teeth with a toothpick openly whilst I was eating, yuck, (not the restaurant's fault) and lastly, they presented the bill without the groupon which we had on the table and had shown to the server which they then corrected. Not a good experience unfortunately.

Best Sushi and Great Service in Brevard.
Banzai Sushi & Thai- Melbourne Lake Washington- 4.45 Stars. If someone had told me 30 years ago that some of the best sushi in Melbourne could be found at a Japanese/Thai restaurant hybrid, I would have laughed in their face and called them a bald liar. Well, had that occurred, I would be gobsmacked today and apologizing for calling them a liar as I have just had some of the best sushi in Melbourne at a place called Banzai Sushi and Thai (a Japanese/Thai restaurant hybrid). The decor is an ascetic combination of Thai and Japanese art that blends together flawlessly to create a welcoming atmosphere. My server was an extremely charming fellow from India named Darban. He was exceedingly professional, personable and knew the menu inside and out. Along with an order of my go-to sushi restaurant barometer of a spicy tuna hand roll, I also placed an order for one Four Seasons roll and one JB Roll.Fresh out of the gate the rubber hit the road as I took a bite into one of the best spicy tuna hand rolls this side of Tokyo. The roll was done to such perfection that it crunched as I bit into it. Hands down, this was one of the better spicy tuna hand rolls I have had and the chef certainly hit it out of the ballpark with this roll. The Four Seasons roll was an old school roll with three different kinds of masago (smelt roe) on top and scallions, salmon, tuna, escolar and avocado mixed in. The exquisite flavor combination had my taste buds performing an Odori within seconds. Last, but far from least, was my order of the JB roll. I don't know who or what JB is, but they should be proud to have their name associated with this creation of culinary delight. It was a dazzling concoction of salmon, cream cheese, scallions and sesame seeds. If you're in the mood for an incredibly globalized meal (where else does one find a person from India serving Japanese food in a Thai place?), some old school sushi where the chefs greet each walk in with the traditional, "Irasshaimase" and the owner's wife darts around like a butterfly checking on customers and staff alike, with fish so fresh you can almost see it draw its final breath, then Big Boy says, "Get yourself on over to Banzai Sushi and Thai in Melbourne and soothe your savage beast with some Far East tradition." #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy

I always hate giving negative feedback, but I have given these guys 3 chances. I've eaten their 5 times total. First two times were great! I had the Yellow Chicken Curry and then Sushi. Both excellent (the first two times). This is also when the place first opened. After that, they either got lazy or greedy. I placed an order along with a sushi handroll. Instead of a handroll I got a regular roll in which the waitress seemed to not understand what I wanted/ordered. I had to google a picture even though they offer it on their menu! The sushi was terrible, low-grade, not appetizing at all. I could barely stomach it. My 5th and last time going was last week. I ordered the Yellow Seafood Curry only to get a spicy red curry looking dish. I tasted it and it was very bitter. I asked the waitress what this was and she said the Yellow Seafood Curry. Then proceeded to argue with me that it was indeed Yellow Curry. She finally took it back and gave me the same dish only with the Yellow not Red Curry. It tasted fine, but I shouldn't have to tell them what they gave me and ask for the right dish after.
