Upon our first visit to Mizu, we were quickly seated and provided water. The service turned slow from there, as it took 20 minutes to receive our appetizer and another 25 minutes for our sushi. The restaurant was not busy at all, with only a few non-hibachi tables occupied on a Sunday evening around 6pm.We ordered the Volcano Roll, clear soup, and salmon roll. We had the calimari as an appetizer. The food was decent, but the portions were small. The Volcano Roll was delivered with a fire inside the bowl and the sushi surrounding the bowl, which was fun and interesting. The decor is new and lively, but there is something to be desired in the service and quantity of food. We left hungry after spending more than what we normally spend at a sushi restaurant.

Our company gathered to celebrate a birthday. The server explained the steps and the how-to's to order. The staff was great. The food was delivered hot and tasty. We started with appetizers, main courses, sushi, and dessert. The price for lunch was very affordable considering the amount of food you could order as long as you eat what you order-no wasting-no to go or pay for what you do want to go home with you. The dinner prices are higher-but having visited for lunch I could see that the price is every bit worth the value of the meal served. What made this celebration so special is that a complimentary fried cheesecake was served to a special person.

Almost didn't go in, because it looked like a hole in the wall. It was real nice inside, modern, and clean. The food was great and the price was low. This will be my go to place from now on. Highly recommend this place.

This is a little secret gem of the Westside. We're not known for our restaurant selection across the bridge, however we do have possibly the best sushi place in town. Jasmine and her husband have created an extremely friendly, organic space that offers grade A sashimi and sushi in an artful platter. The chefs creations are artistic, tasty, trustworthy and inventive! The daily specials kept me coming back for the last 5 years...call me addicted if you must...I just like to call myself a regular.

My wife, son and I were invited to a graduation party at Kyodai Hibachi Grill. Our chef was excellent. He interacted well with those of us at his station and made it a very pleasant experience. He was quick and served everyone in a fairly short time. The portions were generous and the food tasty. Many of those seated with us had enough to take home leftovers.

Our favorite place to indulge in sushi. The food is fresh and quite delicious. They are fast and accommodating. My son loves their soup and children's shrimp hibachi. At the end of every meal, they serve tempura Oreos which are simply amazing! They are not inexpensive but well worth a treat now and again.
