Wide selection of exotic sashimi especially shellfish and unusual fish varieties at good price. Though a chain, there is personal service. Only the common items are in English. There are promotional items listed in Japanese - so it helps to understand the words if one wishes to go beyond the standard items. They even have their own soy sauce, freshly ground wasabi - boutique sushi at supermarket price

My husband and I have been to Japan many times and we both agree this is one of the better kaitenzushi in Japan. Their sushi all come with thick and long slices of fresh fish. Ordering is done via an iPad with English option so worry not about not being able to read Japanese. There is one service staff, an elderly lady who is super helpful and chirpy, which made our experience there even better. A must-visit if you are around Sakae area.

We were looking for a good place for sushi and referred to TripAdvisor for recommendations in the Nagoya area. Sengoku popped up and we easily followed the given directions to the restaurant. While they had no English menu, we were attended to by a staff member who spoke it well. We ordered assorted sashimi and tempura and upon her advice, some of the restaurant's popular dishes, including deep fried tuna with beef and fried egg. The latter is the best that we have taken, ever. It is a popular restaurant with the locals and seats were quickly filled. At the end of an excellent meal that was paired with excellent service, the very reasonable total bill summed up a wonderful dinner experience for us. Would we recommend Sengoku? Definitely. And we look forward to coming back should the opportunity present itself.
