I went to Mall of Africa recently and chose to have dinner at Wasabi restaurant. It has a wonderful layout and ambiance. The sushi was an explosion for the taste buds...my friend had their fish and chips which tasted just as good! I find Wasabi a bit pricey but definetly worth every cent!!

We offer an infusion of diverse flavour, from the small towns of Portugal to the beautiful shores of Africa, our meals are truly Unique. We take care in providing the best seafood from the ocean. Our prawns are juicy, flavourful and never dry, whilst we s
Lots of spicy Portuguese food fair, Plenty of sizzling flavours.Staff are quite passionate about their brand and quite eager to accommodate.I'm not a chili fan, but there are plenty of other options available. As a franchise, the menu is pretty standard and reliable, but good average cuisine.Outdoor patio with big umbrellas and you can watch your car right in front of you - in case you are worried. The Centre is quieter than Carlswald, which is a bonus. This destination has the prime spot as it is right opposite the main gate.

It has taken me some time to post this review, simply because I was trying to think of a less negative way to write it, after our incredibly disappointing team lunch there last week. What is more confusing is that the prices are really steep, which I don't mind because I am more inclined to hope that we will then receive better quality service and treatment but neither happened. So I will just state facts:1. I booked a table of sixteen (16) people with Michela Vigliotti on the 24th July 2017 for the upcoming Friday lunch time. We arrived on the Friday lunch time and were left standing outside because there was no booking under my name for some reason. After several minutes I then walked inside, asked for the manager and he finally asked where we want to sit.. They then assembled a table of sixteen (16) in front of us all there and then. 2. The drinks. As drinks were ordered, for some reason certain people got their orders. Others just didn't. For example, two people ordered a glass of red wine. One person got theirs, and the other waited ten minutes before having to walk inside to request it at the bar. 3. The food. The food was the same situation and almost chaotic. We were served by several different waiters who I can only assume didn't communicate the orders with each other. This led to certain people either just not receiving their orders, and others received incorrect orders (thereby having to send their dishes back). The lady sitting next to me, actually offered her Chicken Ballotine to me to try because it was so tough (and overcooked) that she could not cut through it with her knife. 4. The ambiance. At lunch time, unfortunately it sounded like a nightclub but with almost crackly speakers outside due to the bass. We had to request that the blaring music through the speakers outside was turned down. 5. The Service.Apart from the fact that the orders were incorrect, that there were several different waiters serving us throughout the lunch (and I personally had to walk in twice to ask about my order), I can say that it was friendly. *Recommendation: Its safe to say that I thoroughly regretted recommending this spot to my boss and team. After apologizing and consulting with the other members of my team who were at the lunch, its safe to say that they sadly won't be returning either. My recommendation is that I don't recommend Zuri Social Lounge at all.

At Ocean Basket Mall Of Africa you'll find friendly people, a home-from-home feeling and great value for your hard-earned bucks.
I was starting to lose faith in Ocean Basket however i really wanted to go out for dinner this week and as it is January the rand is low which meant that Ocean Basket was our only option. To my surprise Gugu, a new waitress took such great care of us that i have to tell the world. We ordered a platter for 2 and a number of hot and cold beverages which she brought promptly. The fish was over cooked but the mussels and rice hit the spot. All in all it ended up being an enjoyable evening. Thanks to Gugu for the service, laughs and sweeties.Hello Larce C,Thank you for this fin-tastic review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us and that Gugu provided you with great service.Come and visit again, soon. The OB Team
