We were fortunate to have dinner in this gorgeous restaurant while a thunder and lighting storm. The food and service were excellent but the lighting show was spectacular. Like most steak houses the pricing is quite high but the quality of the food and presentation make it worth it. They also have an amazing sushi bar with first rate fish and innovating dishes. Excellent location for a memorable night.

With a request from a good friend of mine to have sushi for dinner we went and tried Musashi's in Factoria. With no reservations, no accepting of credit cards and a very small space there are a few reasons to not go. The hallmark of any restaurant is its food and that makes it worth going in spite of all the drawbacks.Musashi's is small restaurant located in a strip mall in Factoria in Bellevue, WA that could easily be referred to as a "hole in the wall." Unassuming with nothing outside of awning to speak for it you would never realize the potential for very good sushi but you will need to go through a lot to get there. First, the parking is abysmal through no fault of the restaurant. On a Friday night you may be driving around for 15-20 minutes trying to find a spot as there are just too many shops and not enough parking. Second, the restaurant does not have any reservation system--you show up and put your name on a list. This is a tried and true system but on busy nights you could be waiting for an hour or more to get a table so I recommend you show up, put yourself on the list and then go to one of the two nearby Starbucks and wait it out. Finally the restaurant itself is small and very, very loud. Musashi's crams as many people as they can in there and it makes for difficult conversation as each table is literally shouting at each other so this is not an intimate or romantic venue. All of that said you want very good sushi and a good price you should put up with everything Musashi's has going against it. The menu itself is small--there's maybe ten type of sushi and ten types of rolls not counting the specials they have on the wall but the portions are generous and the price excellent. For two people with a shared sushi plate, three full size rolls, beer and sake the total came to 46 USD which for Bellevue is a very good price. In addition the fish was fresh--the salmon was excellent and was like butter when placed on the tongue and the cheese roll with two types of cheese and cooked salmon was a delightful surprise. Really the only thing I would have liked to have seen was a selection of sashimi but for what we ordered we would not have had any room left to eat it.Once you have a table Musashi's is worth waiting for if you want a comfortable night out with good sushi. If you want to avoid all the problems I listed at the beginning of this review I'd recommend going Monday through Thursday as Friday and Saturday will bring all sorts of headaches for dinner.

Located in Old Bellevue, Ginza Japanese Restaurant has been serving authentic Japanese cuisine since 2002. We offer an extensive menu including quality sushi and other Japanese favorites. Our special otsumami menu showcases an assortment of small plates f
Get there early for a weekday seat at lunchtime. This small, tucked-in-a-corner location seemed to have a lot of repeat customers. These were all greeted by name. It gave the restaurant a friendly welcoming feel. The food was fresh and abundant. / We would go again. / Personally though, I like my teriyaki chicken grilled, not boiled.

Those mourning the loss of Kirkland Parkplace's Riki Riki Japanese restaurant but haven't tried a nearby equal will be delighted. FLO offers the freshest of sushi and sashimi, delicate tempura, a varied and enticing menu and an amazing selection of sweet, medium-dry and dry sake's, as well as sake-based cocktails. They even concoct their own ice-creams. Can't wait to go back!

Located in the downtown Mercer Island,we are proud to serve every dish using freshiest ingredients at value price with fun & kid's friendly etmosphere.
Their food has been good, however, when you order the take out, somehow they always miss one item. It has happened a few times. It is very frustrating to drive back and forth just to pick up the missing item. Not sure if will go back again.

Japonessa offers happy hour in the entire restaurant every day until 5:30pm and in the bar lounge all day every day. This makes for an affordable outing to a very nice restaurant in a very non-affordable town. We split a few items including a california roll, spicy yellowtail roll (beware!), and a sushi set which consisted of 5 pieces for $11. They had nice wine choices for $5 on the happy hour menu and also had special prices on sake and cocktails. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere upscale yet comfortable.

So I wouldn't come here for ambience (think neon signs, Seahawks posters) but the food definitely makes it worthwhile. Came with 2 friends, I had the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura roll (can't remember what is was called) thinking it was tuna and shrimp both in the roll, but it was actually shrimp tempura roll with chunks of spicy shrimp piled on top. Not what I expected but excellent quality (esp. the tuna), tasted great, and at $14.50 was all the food I needed for dinner. We had 4-5 plates of rolls between us, 2 glasses of wine, 1 beer and green tea and it was $80 before tip. For the quality and freshness I think it was totally worth it. Definitely going back.

This is a large restaurant and the ambiance is lacking. Right downtown not too far from belle square. The food was good as was the service. Most plates ran about $40-55. Overall it was a pleasant meal but I did not believe it worth the price point. The others in the party enjoyed their meals. No missed steps but also nothing stood out.
