Iâve been to Genki for lunch 3 times, once by myself at the sushi bar, in the past year and never been disappointed. The sushi is freshly and perfectly made. Service is always friendly and helpful. Homemade soy sauce is delicious. Ending the meal with a few pieces of homemade candy is perfect.

We were at this establishment 3 times...each time the food has been great and made to order. Service is very good however the wait-staff gets too friendly in a way that makes you uncomfortable. They call you baby, hon, and things like that...they do it to make you feel good...but it is far over done and somewhat "low class".The restaurant, needs to be dressed up a bit more, somewhat unorganized looking...and a few extra dollars (not much) can make a huge difference in the look of the location.I think there is limited kitchen staff...as each time I have been here...(table of four) the food comes out in stages (one can have their dinner 3 to 5 minutes before the others); it is cooked to order but never have I been here for dinner when all four dinners come out the same time. Once with a table of 8...a few were almost finished while others were being served.Staff if efficient and friendly yet a bit low on class. I am not a snob but almost anyone, I believe, will agree.Met the owners...extremely nice couple...that understand the restaurant business however they do need to train their staff.Overall great food, plenty of food and excellent pricing.We will deffinetly return again...but just wish they would train their staff as to the "right" and "Wrong" how to talk to customers (and how they dress too) (perhaps a standard uniform or dress code).Do not let my comments stop you...the food is excellent!

As Iâm reading the reviews, most are about the food, which I agree is important when deciding on where to dine. But another important aspect of the dining out experience is the service. Last night we had several family members come together for dinner here - a few from different states (me included). Our server, Morgan (and Brian also), were absolutely wonderful! Morgan was enthusiastic, was extremely attentive to our needs, and always came up with the right things to say to everyone. The food was delish as well, but I can honestly say that the service they delivered was second to none and we all left with smiles on our faces and continue to gush about their service. Thank you, Morgan and Brian, for treating us so well. As an individual who, years ago, spent many years in the service industry, I feel that it is important to acknowledge great service when I experience it! They are both an asset to your establishment.

This was our first visit and we loved everything that we tried. There are great prices on happy hour rolls between 5 and 7 and on Thursday nights they have $10 noodle bowls. If you are a Sushi fan you should really give this place a try.

Did not enjoy time here. Got a feeling like being cattle in line - shown to table - ordered drinks had to ask for them after first salad came.Tea not hot! WTF! Lunch special ok but rice odd - did not taste good.Felt unwell after. Never again. Good luck if you like this - won't see us there.
