"God's vineyards") is a city in northern Israel. Established in 1964 as a development town, Karmiel is located in the Beit HaKerem Valley which divides upper and lower Galilee. The city is located south of the Acre-Safed road, 32 kilometres (20 miles) from Safed and 20 km (12 miles) from Ma'alot-Tarshiha and 20 km (12 mi) from Acre. In 2016 Karmiel had a population of 45,300.

High quality ingredients in well made and presented sushi. A few tables but primarily for take out or delivery. Not for "fine dining" but great to satisfy a sushi craving. Not officially kosher, but part of chain that is using the same menu and closed on Shabbat.Excellent fast and personable service whether for take out or sit down. Highly recommended for a simple sushi meal with good selection and taste.

I have eaten at Sushime several times and the sushi there is consistently very fresh and creative. I love the rolls coated with caviar which give it a wonderful taste and consistency and have never seen this anywhere else. On the down side, it is a small place with only one waitress and one sushi chef, so there is often a long wait for service. The outside setting is very nice in the newish "midrachov" section of Karmiel and there are many shops and restaurants opening, giving it an up and coming cosmopolitan feeling..

A surprise find in Karmiel - a combination cafe and bar whose main speciality is sushi, although with a nice varied menu including stir-frys and salads - and kosher to boot.Inside the atmosphere is welcoming, the seating area clean and attractive (not like most places in Israel), and the service prompt and helpful, although granted the place was not busy when I was there. Prices are reasonable. May become one of my regular places!

The service was wonderful. Very attentive and communicated with us in English.Wasn't sure about having Japanese food in Israel. The food was fresh and hot. But, there was a particular spice that everyone disliked.Located on the top of a hill overlooking Nazareth, the view both inside and from the patio is spectacular. On a clear night the town is and the mosques shine brightly.
