Nasty food, poor customer service. I'm not particularly picky when it comes to Chinese take-out, but really didn't enjoy this food. The employees were rude and inattentive, not acknowledging my presence (all I wanted to know is approximately when my food would be up!) However, I did not try any sushi which had good reviews on here, so maybe that's this restaurant's saving grace!

Zen 16 has passed the test of time even under (relatively) new ownership. The light color wood and cream walls are modern without being stark. The pan-Asian bistro theme remains. Service is efficient, and my iced tea glass was never empty. My favorite starter is a mixed sashimi appetizer, but I was enticed by a special of perfectly formed an lightly fried oysters with a spicy mayo dipping sauce. The refreshing seaweed salad on a bed of cucumber provides healthy greens. A variety of bento boxes and noodle dishes are there to choose. My all time favourite is the udon soup, and today the mix of chicken, beef and shrimp was generous and delicious. The broth is delicate with the taste of the vegetables highlighted by the flavor of crispy fried onions. As usual I finished the broth down to the bottom of the big bowl. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Went on a busy Saturday night. So glad we called ahead to make a reservation. When we arrived at 7:00 for a 7:15pm reservation there were easily 50-75 people waiting for tables. Our 7:15 was honored about 7:30. When we left at 8:30 some of the people who had been waiting were still there. So reservations are recommended. We were seated in a cozy spot with two hibachi stations. The tables are a bit cramped but you are right on top of the grilling action. The menu is pretty big and reasonably priced. For 3 adult meals and 1 child, we totaled less than one hundred dollars. Far less than the same meal we have had elsewhere. All of the protein and vegetables looked fresh and of excellent quality. We had chicken, scallops, and shrimp. All cooked perfectly and served fresh. You do need to be prepared to eat progressively as items are served on to your plate as they are ready. So some members of your party may eat ahead of you. Also some items like rice come in plentiful quantity while you wait for your protein. Typical of hibachi but this seemed poorer timing than others Iâve been to. Always a good show with a few tricks like an onion volcano, tossing shrimp to people to catch in their mouths and flipping eggs into the chefâs hat. Fun entertainment along with excellent food.

The Rainbow King has received good reviews so we decided to try it. Impressive. We were seated in the dining room area that is simply decorated but 'crisp' and not overly ornate. We were quickly asked by our efficient waiter for our drink order. Alcoholic beverages are available. Our first order was for the shrimp egg rolls (2) that were nicely presented with duck sauce on the side. These were tasty. Next was won ton soup and the hot & sour soup. The latter did have a slight 'bite' to it as indicated on the menu but both soups were quite good. Our main entrees were the Pad Thai with beef with two cheese fried won tons that were delicious and the mussel, scallop, crabmeat in black bean sauce with a bowl of rice. This dish was exquisitely presented and very colorful. When brought to the table, the crabmeat was not in the dish but our waiter quickly corrected the order. Lots of tender sea scallops and plump mussels and many pieces of crabmeat adorned this dish along with onion, red and green peppers. Scrumptious. This was a pleasant dining experience. There are two wall mounted TV screens set on Closed Caption so no noise to hinder conversation.

Went for dinner. Wednesday night, no problem getting seated. Server was friendly and prompt. We ordered two dishes, General Tso Chicken and Chicken Amazing( a house dish). Both were excellent. We ended up with enough for another meal each. Will be going there often.

I've been here several times but have yet to decide whether I like it or not. There's nothing extraordinary about it...the food and service are okay, but it's not on my top five places in Bel Air for Chinese.

Kiyomi Sushi offers a variety in Japanese cuisine, in pleasant surroundings. The staff are welcoming and happy to explain the menu items. This led to my first ever taste of sea urchin. The texture was unexpected, but the taste, fresh and beautifully presented in cucumber 'flowers '. The crisp seaweed salad and hearty miso soup were good starters. For my main dish I had the Ring of Fire Roll with spicy tuna and topped with fresh tuna and jalapeno. Mochi Ice Cream provided a cool ending to a great meal.

For a very reasonable sum of $43, my family enjoyed two types of shrimp, lo mein, and fried rice. The food was really good and the potions were plenty for our family of four adults. Suggest driving to Forest Hills for your Chinese food cravings.
