This is an honest assessment of my experience tonight at Charming Garden. It's not a gripe-fest, but unfortunately there isn't a lot to report that's positive.Ever have one of those evenings when some good Chinese, Japanese or Thai food was the only way to go? That was tonight for me. I had looked forward to going back to Charming Garden for the first time in a while. BIG mistake.First, I'll say that the service was OK (the only reason I didn't give the restaurant one star rather than two) . . . no problems. That being said, the food was just plain awful. Steamed vegetable dumplings were heavy, thick and soggy. My entree was chicken with mixed vegetables, and I had asked that one particular vegetable be omitted. It wasn't. The chicken was noticeably undercooked. Most of the vegetables were somewhere between room temperature and cold. Spring rolls were soft and greasy with oil pooled on the exterior, not crisp. Basically, I ate the dumplings and almost none of the rest . . . declined a doggie bag, too.NOT recommended. Go elsewhere.

While this restaurant may seem small, it's huge on flavor & variety of sushi. Plenty of other options for our non-sushi eating friends as well. My only eyebrow raising moment was the fact that they don't have iced tea - other than the canned variety. Otherwise an excellent experience - and I would come back again in my travels to this area.

This was our first time here and we were really impressed. They have a big selection of Chinese, Japanese and Thai food. It's very nicely decorated and very clean. The service was wonderful. The food was awesome all the way around. We shared the boneless BBQ spareribs and Dragon Roll for our appetizer. The Dragon Roll is AWESOME! I had the Maki Dinner and my husband had the Double Delight with garlic sauce. Both were really good. The Double Delight had big shrimp and scallops! We will definitely be back.

Hubs and I went here for a date night not too long ago. I tried the sample plate and rockin' spicy tuna roll! The food was amazing and we got miso soup with the meals. The service is lackluster but not terrible! Would definitely visit again!

Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Restaurant. We serve entertaining meals where dishes are prepared at your table by our hibachi Expert Chefs, serving fine grilled steaks, chicken and seafood delights. Have some sushi and sashimi from our exclusive sushi bars.
My first visit to Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Bar exceeded all expectations. We were a party of 14 out for a birthday celebration. Upon all of us arriving we took up a full Hibachi seating with two chiefs. In the most proficient manner possible, a crew of service people taking orders , placing dishes on the tables. The food was exceptional tasting. The Chicken with vegetables , noodles and white rice was a meal I could not finish and everyone had a take home meal of what they did not finish. Others had shrimp and fries rice. Dessert was bowl of their choice of ice cream. What ready made the night special was the entertainment the Chiefs performed in preparing the meals. Twirling utensils , great conversations ,magic onion volcanos .and more . Also al birthday cake with candle for the Birthday person, It was an pleasant and fun family evening.

There were 12 of us in our party. Our waiter was good and the food is all very fresh. I love watching them make it--service was also outstanding. Can't complain I am surprised at the bad reviews. Our drinks were very tasty as well. My only complain and I withheld a 5 star was the soup was just a broth. I would have expected something in it--. They can forget the soup. Other than that very happy with my meal.
