Find out what Sushi restaurants to try in Dublin. Dublin (formerly, Amador and Dougherty's Station) is a suburban city of the East (San Francisco) Bay and Tri-Valley regions of Alameda County, California, United States. Located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown San Francisco, 23 miles (37 km) east of downtown Oakland, and 31 miles (50 km) north of downtown San Jose, it was referred to as "Dublin" in reference to the city of Dublin in Ireland because of the large number of Irish who lived there. The post office formally adopted the name in the 1890s.

The salad was bad. It was too sweet and weird. I'm allergic to peanuts and they say that it's just miso dressing but my mom tasted peanut butter. The nigiri's sashimi and rice are loose, the sushi is hard and the price was okay. I would not come here.

We were in Dublin visiting our son, daughter-in-law and two small grandchildren, 9 and 6.The food was ok, nothing special. Our daughter-in-law is Japanese and she knows her Japanese sushi. My husband picked up the check and tipped 16 dollars on a check of 114 dollars.. After he paid the bill, he felt that he had been overcharged. In small print on the check was written, 18 percent gratuity for parties of six or more. When my husband realized the mistake, he spoke to the waitress and she assured him that she would subtract the 16 dollars. But she didn't. Reviewing our credit card statement, 130 dollars was charged for the dinner. My husband called Citibank, the credit card company, and they are going to credit the 16.00, the bank, not the restaurant. It goes without saying that we won't eat there again, and we go to Dublin quite frequently.

I like Japanese food very much, and like a quiet and serene atmosphere to go with it. Sato provided both--we each had a very good teriyaki beef plate with tempura garnishes, and plentiful green tea. The restaurant was serving mostly customers who were clearly of Japanese descent, a good sign of authenticity and quality of the food. I can't comment on the raw fish dishes, as I don't eat raw fish, but the cooked lunch menu offerings were varied including chicken, beef and seafood. Lunch menu is online at the Sato website; most lunches are a good value at around $10.Service was attentive and pleasant. We lingered as long as we wished. The restaurant is small and attractively appointed. Parking seemed tight on a Friday at lunchtime--there are many shops and restaurants in the shopping center.Would gladly try other dishes at lunch or dinner at Sato.

Yanagi Sushi and Grill located at the Dublin Blvd serves amazing Japanese cuisine. The restaurant has an excellent ambiance with a good choice of chicken, shrimps and other sea food. The dishes are made at the Table and served hot. We enjoyed a family lunch with our grand children included. We tasted their drink Sake along-with Asahi draft Beer and Miso soup. Chef Danny weaved magic with his hands by cooking Fried Rice in Garlic Butter, Shrimps, Chicken,Steak, Lobster and other sea food at our table. He also kept the kids entertained with his acts. The staff are helpful and courteous. We had a wonderful experience.

Discovered Sendo via its trip advisor reviews and its close proximity to the Courtyard Pleasanton. After a short walk down Hopyard I entered and was immediately greeted and welcomed by the chefs behind the sushi bar. Appreciated the great service, the excellent sushi, and the overall feel of the place. Highly recommended!

Driving around looking for sushi places on a 106 degree day is not my idea of fun. Finally found this place, which IS open on the weekends, unlike other places. We were pleasantly surprised. We were quickly treated and seated. There were edamame (free) for us to snack on while we made our menu choices. We chose two sushi rolls and we're pleased with both. I think our total bill was $30.

I always pay attention on the freshness and quality of sushi and sashimi. This restaurant is one of the better one. The variety on other menu choices like grilled salmon and teriyaki ribs makes it appealing to all! However, the restaurant does get nosy and busy! The waiters and cooks are fast! I recommend this restaurant for good authentic sushi!
