Palm Seaside, Phuket Most Exciting Restaurant, Lounge & Bar Open Daily from 4pm to Midnight, serving Fresh Seafood by the Sea. Located 300m pass the Amanpuri on BangTao Beach. Smart Casual attire required.
When you are paying New York prices, you expect a great experience but that didn't happen. Starting from an abrupt greeting ('any booking', 'I'll check', when the bookings were only SEVEN in the book!) .Trainees topping wine after each sip, clearing tables while still eating, leaning across tables to clear, dirty uniforms, wobbly/unclean table mats... Then the meal, entree and main, all done in about an hour!! Then ,after paying bill, you are ignored/invisible!!Oh, the only act of generosity was a rice dry rice cracker and some tiny bowl of unknown dip!! Cheapest wine was a Argentinian Chardonnay at $A75 ($A6 at my local bottle shop) and it is crap. Food is OK if you think a menu that ranges from hamburger to lobster and everything in between, is what you want from a Phuket experience. The setting is on an ordinary beach in a barren neighborhood. But if you fancy paying $500 for the thrill , you go for it!Dear goodies3shoes,Thank you for having chosen Palm Seaside for your dining experience by the sea.I am sorry you did not enjoy your dinner and I have to apologies for some of the remarks you made as they are pertinent. We will never stop to endeavor to improve and your feed back is invaluable. On the pricing, it so happens that in Thailand import taxes on wine are between 200 and 400% leaving restaurant with very little margins and having to practice what would be considered high priced beverages. As to paying $ 500 even if those are Australian which is equivalent to approx THB 10'000 this would easily accommodate a table of 4 or 5.Despite this disappointment, we do hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back.Until thenOlivier

Located in the classy area of Phuket, TAKE Japanese Restaurant aims to delight you with the freshest Japanese cuisine you can find on the island. Clean, healthy, masterfully crafted dishes to tantalise your taste buds with excellent service from our TAKE
This restaurent is nice. First you should try the tea! From japan, super intense and full of flavor. Then the food super yummy, tasty, you can fell a bit of japan. Compare to all kind of japanes food you can see in Phuket, this restaurent is on top position. The only problem is the noise outside, with the car's trafic and the restaurent's position its noisy on the terrasse. Maybe can add some japaness music also. But any way food its very delicious. I will come back asap.

Japanese,Thai Food, Sashimi, Sushi, Set Menu, Take Away, lunch Boxes, Delivery and Catering Services great value for your money.
Yuzu came recommended and is on the restaurant list supplied at Chava resort. It was a 5 min taxi ride. Surprisingly was not busy, as we have found with most restaurants at this time of the year. Yuzu serves both quality Japanese and Thai and we had mostly Japanese with a little Thai. All food was first rate.Yes it is in the higher price range, but any good Japanese around the world is expensive.Seafood is expensive and our Sushimi plate was small, the only down side. The beer was icy cold. We have found with many Phuket restaurants there is a mix of good and ordinary staff. We had an ordinary girl to start then two more experienced ladies took over and the service was excellent. We asked for a taxi and the owner pulled up outside in his vehicle and drove us back to the resort.Overall an experience we can only recommend to potential dinners.
