Asahi does not live up to the reviews. Service was great and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. Unfortunately, the food was not great. Clear soup had mushy fried onions (I think) in it...the sushi did not taste good at all, except for the Lil' Ray Ray roll...Very disappointing, especially considering the price.

My husband & I ate here tonight. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. The sushi I had was really good. The Chinese entries we had were very tasty and consistent with other Chinese food I've had in other places. The shrimp fried rice was some of the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back again soon!

Nice service,seated quickly,I did call in advance to notify them of large party arrival. Group was sat together drink orders accepted quickly no problem accepting getting refills. Table cleared of used dishes rapidly. Restaurant was clean food was fresh reasonably priced for weekend. Ample parking available. Located near large shopping area.

Eat here with family and friends, party of eight. They automatically add 18% for gratuity. I donât really like that but I do understand it. Food is typically nice and fresh. Service is decent. I recommend going before 6 oâclock if it is a Friday or Saturday night. The place can get crowded rather quickly. It is in a nice safe area, with nearby shopping. I recommend the asparagus roll, fried rice, yummy role, and snow crab roll. My son ordered the family crab roll but was on able to eat it as it was too spicy although he has ordered it and been very pleased in the past. This is not inexpensive. Our family of four typically cost greater than $50 to eat. Several times we have had extra drinks and what not on our ticket and had to point out that they were in error. That is to be expected I suppose when dining with large groups. Overall a decent place to go with good sushi.
