As we enjoy Asian cuisine, we decided to give this establishment a try... afterwards wishing that we had skipped it all together! The Shanghai Steak was unlike any other I have ever had before - it was deepfried in a crust (and tough as boots), in a sweet and sour sauce. This was okay, but a far cry from a good dish. The sweet and sour chicken was so sweet that we could not eat it on the night (the steak dish was already too sweet) so took it home only to discover that it was about 50% dough with a small piece of chicken hidden deep inside the pocket.Sadly will not be returning - not only because of the quality of the food, but also that I had to wait about 15 minutes longer for my dish to arrive versus my partner's dish.

If you just want a plain no frills meal then they do okay. Our sever was polite but not very good. We had to request bread as none was brought to our table. Then my daughter's meal arrived well before mine. Not good timing and this is not good enough. Both meals were nice but nothing special. But what really upset me was the fact that such a large chain store serving FISH is still providing PLASTIC straws. I mean everybody knows this is so bad for the ocean and should be stopped immediately. when I asked the manager about it, he said they still use the plastic but he would mention it to Head Office. My wife and I visited this local restaurant one weekday evening and noted that it was well patronized. My wife ordered sushi and I had a set menu. My wife was very happy with her food. The set menu consisted of five generous portions of food, in fact more than I could finish. The quality was very average but quite enjoyable. The service was prompt. I cannot remember whether corkage was charged on the bottle of wine we brought along.

My friends and I went for a light meal with drinks.I love Willow Bridge, the restaurant location is nice. We went there when is was fairly empty, at about 16h30. It looked like the staff was still setting up for dinner service because we waited a while to get attention. Overall, I would go there again. The food was good and I generally like the relaxed ambiance.

The sushi on the belt is very good and there is a nice variety to choose from. The buffet is worth it. The buffet's food is in smaller portions so you can taste everything. Will go back.

Went to Hooked for dinner. Had sushi for a starter and was pleasantly surprised by the good quality. Then we each had a seafood platter for 1. Could have shared the platter as it is sufficient food to share if you're having a starter. The seafood was tasty, the service relaxed and friendly. I would recommend Hooked as good value within Tygervalley Shopping Centre.

Havimg tested a few sushi restaurants in Bellville, we found Wason to be very good quality and quantity for money paid.Being in our neighbourhood, we make a point of ordering at least every two weeks, doing take-aways. Their platters and extras are well worth a try.Exxellent variety, sushi not over-riced but well balaced and very tasty.Highly recommended.

Service is so fast, felt like they were faster than a fast food take away place. Sushi very delicious. Service good. Sushi a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. They are right next to the play area of Willowbridge, so depending on when you go, might be quite noisy. Otherwise, its a must go to place.

I found this family restaurant some time ago and continue visiting from time to time. I'm not the only one, I see other customers are coming back too. The food is tasty, sushi made with fresh fish, the service is great and personal and the place is unpretentious. After a few visits we established a habit of starting the meal with the most delicious salmon miso soup, we always have salmon rainbow roll and try something new. Last time we had salmon and tuna sashimi, you can tell the quality of the fish is great. I know that Yuz restaurant opens at 13:00 and is closed on Sundays. They have a few free parkings just in front, anywhere else you'll have to pay for the parking.

My family and I visited this restaurant for an early birthday celebration dinner. I was not aware of the fact that reservations are advised for a Saturday night but we were warmly welcomed and shown to our seats. What an experience it turned out to be! The food was tasty and the presentation was lovely. We started with vegetable Spring Rolls and ordered Masaman Curry, Red Curry, Sweet and Sour Crispy Pork and Vegetables, Fried Rice, Jasmine Rice and a Vegetarian Noodle dish. All the dishes tasted great but my personal favourite was the Vegetarian Noodle dish (with cashew nuts). My nephew, a Milkshake Connoisseur, declared the Chocolate Milkshake the best he's ever had and my Sister, the Hot Chocolate Connoisseur, made a similar observation of her drink.
