This was my family's 4th visit to this restaurant which sits high on a bluff above the Kern River and it continues to delight. The quality of the food and its presentation are excellent. We ordered a ribeye, chicken tenders, and a chicken fried steak and all were very good. The restaurant was packed so it took a bit of time for the food to come out but it was worth the wait. The service was worthy of 5 stars.

This is one of my must go to places every time I visit Kernville. It seems we always end up here due to the fishing not going the way we like it to. But it's a great place to go to when you're looking for a good steak and the black bean soup is a definite must have .The service has always been really good , helpful,and friendly . They really seem to go out of their way to accommodate your request. McNally's has recently gone through a change of ownership and all we can hope for is that it will be, just as good as ever. Only time will tell.

Paradise Cove has been one of the best dining experiences in the Lake Isabella/Kern Valley area for years. In an era of fast food, this dining experience offers good food, at a reasonable price, in an upscale atmosphere. The service is prompt and friendly also. The prime rib special is the highlight of their menu.

It's a steep and winding drive of 8 miles or so from the shores of Isabella Lake up to Greenhorn Mountain. The scenery makes the trip worthwhile, and at the restaurant, one enjoys a thoughtful menu, good preparation, a nice wine list and a lovely wooded setting.

Excellent ! This is a family owned and run restaurant. They ALWAYS serve the best food and give the best service! So the one and only negative review... Completely false! Guess he didn't like the included gratuity on all large parties (pretty standard for any restaurant) Which he didn't pay and stiffed the waitresses of any tip at all!
