Nice and relaxed for a Sunday lunch.Great quality produce, prices ok depending on what you order.Specialities : chargrilled meats and fish, especially the tuna.Nice quiet place.Good service.High quality ingredients.Average price: starters - mains - dessert - wine = 40/50â¬.Great steaks. Great salads. Great desserts.Only let down: marinated salmon chunks. No taste of marination and microscopic sprinkling of coffee. All in all good choice. Excellent chargrilled items.

From all the restaurants I visited so far in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Asador Orio is the one with the most exquisite fish-cuisine in the city. Traditional basque recipies are prepared with care and devotion. Besides fish, one can taste tender meat recipies (solomillo, chuleton, costillas) as well as veggie dishes cooked with local vegetables. Fish remains being the specialty that makes the eatery reknown in Vitoria: hake, cod, turbot, sea bream, monkfish, flounder... Very recommendable.Welcoming service and cozy instalations. Very well located, not far from the center, right at the edge of a great city-park for a digesting stroll afterwards of for kids to play.

We had chorizo which was the best i have ever tasted this was followed with octopus and for our main we had beef called Chuleton which was absolutely devine and cooked perfect. Beware the portion sizes are massive

Restaurant strategically situated in the heart of The Vitoria Medieval. Its quality cuisine-specialising in grilled meats and fish, as well as seasonal produce. It has a terrace in an incomparable setting.
This restaurant is slightly off the main streets, but nice and peaceful as a result. Service wasn't great, but it was busy and only 2 girls on to start with, one didn't speak English, we didn't speak Catalan either but we got by! Starters seemed very expensive for what they were, so we skipped and went for sirloin steak. It definitely wasn't the equivalent of a UK steak - all for the better! I would have sworn it was a very generous, tender fillet. Came with 'a few' fries. We asked for vegetables and these were either tinned or pickled - probably a reflection of the region, but fresh veg or salad would have been much nicer. Overall good, but not brilliant. I will try other places in Vitoria before going back.

It is an excellent choice for people wanting to enjoy great sea-food, fish or meat. It is not a fancy, sophisticated restaurant, but certainly one of the places in Vitoria where you will enjoy the food the most. The sea-food is super-fresh and with a huge variety to chose from. The fish is exceptional, I would recommend "besugo" (sea bream). It as been run by the same family for about 50 years. They know their business and they handle it really well. The service is friendly and efficient. To top it all the prices are very reasonable. We really appreciate your opinion. Hope you visit us soon.Thank you.
