We are a family of 5 who came to Toronto for a few day getaway and ended up here for my moms birthday dinner... SUCH A WONDERFUL RESTAURANT! We sat outside at 4pm on Friday, our server was Megan, she was excellent!!!! We started with calamari and fried Korean cauliflower as appetizers, they were both delicious but the cauliflower was to die for. We received complementary bread which was great as well. I had the Filet with Cajun shrimp added and a side of mashed potatoes. I ordered it medium rare, it was slightly over but was so so so flavorful. Since it was my moms birthday we got a slice of the mocha cake.. OMG YUM!!!! 10/10 and 5 stars!! Would recommend for sure

We were staying in the area and chose Fired Up due to proximity to our hotel as it's great reviews. We were not disappointed, this restaurant is all around excellent. The food was absolutely delicious with good sized portions. Our server recommended an appetizer that was incredible and we each enjoyed our entrees very much. For those who enjoy a cocktail, we found ours to be stronger than we would expect, but that's not a complaint. The atmosphere is nice, a little rustic and high end all at once. What a great spot, so glad we found it and can't wait for another chance to go back.Thank you for the 5 Star Review. We cant wait to have you back. We are thrilled that you had Great Service, Great Food and Great Ambiance.

Very expensive but food is great. Oysters fresh and served with appropriate condiments but $4 an oyster is steep.Iceberg salad a treat!Cap steak was tender and perfectly prepared. Sides are marvellous. Try mushrooms,cauliflower and creamed spinach.Deserts are all good.Wine list overpriced with only a few affordable choices.Be prepared to pay!!

Perfect location in downtown Toronto. Walking distance to subway, major hotels and the business core. Dark entrance, night club atmosphere....awesome !! Lots of staff, all very good humoured and pretty knowledgeable about the menu....and steak !Good menu, tons of choices. We both had different cuts, both were perfect,. Lots of sides, and service was very good. Overall a pretty great dinner, and evening.

We dine at The Keg frequently, we like the consistency of the food, no matter what city we are in. Arrived just before 7:00 on a Friday night, unable to secure a reservation, we had a 35 minute wait for a table of four. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was mediocre at best, something we are not used to when we eat at The Keg. We had to ask for drink refills, more bread, things that should be taken care of automatically. Perhaps we were not given the service we expect because we chose not to have alcoholic beverages, so he figured his tip would be less than other tables. We rarely saw our server. We didnât let it wreck our evening however it wasnât impressive.

Visited Jacobs & co. in September 2019. This restaurant is located on King West near Spadina. The restaurant itself, and our entire experience, was very enjoyable and satisfying from beginning to end. The service was attentive, relaxed, timely and jovial. A congenial and very professional atmosphere. The server who recommended a wonderful wine for us was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, a pleasure to listen to. Table-side Caesar salad was a treat. Parking validation is available.Very extensive wine list.All in all, this is a very fine restaurant. Highly recommended.

Absolutely astounding restaurant in Toronto! This is one of the rare gems that should have a six star category. The wine was exquisite as they have a vast wine cellar and a prize whiskey selection. The flavors of each dish exploded in your mouth subtly. An example : a wedge salad with buttermilk base, fresh blue cheese, baby gem lettuce, apple strands, red onion slivers topped with smoked bacon and crispy onions to start. An Ontario Black Angus tenderloin aged to perfection complemented with a side Bearnaise sauce which was lemony and the tarragon taste permeated it. A selection of sides and desserts to numerous and exquisite to list as well as a steak selection from some of the finest cuts of North America and Japan. We were amazed by the food and the service. The staff is exceptional! We will return here on our next trip to Tornoto.

We visited many years ago and just forgot about this resto. The food is very good, portions were on the larger side which was fine - we like to have leftovers for lunch. Staff was pleasant and our table was ready immediately.
