on our last night in Austria we decided to check out the highly recommended Hotel Heitzmann, hearing about their XL burgers and incredible steak selection we joined another group who were staying at Haus Barber with us and drove into Mittersill. We were shown to a table for 8 people and half the group took advantage of the steak menu and some others were swayed by the promise of a truly memorable burger and I can say that all who sat and enjoyed a meal had a brilliant time. From the very friendly approachable staff to the perfectly cooked steak with brilliant presentation I would advise people go and experience it themselves.

Nice place, great food, especially the carpaccio and the ribs. Service is friendly but very slow,and two of the main dishes were missing (on a standard weekday). We stopped here for lunch during a white-out. Food was served fairly promptly and service was attentive. Avoid the coke on tap which doesn't appear to be carbonated but otherwise the visit was a pleasure.Burgers were very good, but a little pricey.
