Recently dined here as part of an Aniversary celebration. Apologize for not remembering our servers name. Young lady wiith blond ponytil, that was attentive and knowledgale. Quick note on this she was friendly and upbeat but neither my spouse or myself noticed any of the other servers even smile during our stay. Did not affect our meal in any way, just seems curious.Anyway BH had Oysters Rocekefeller and I had Lobster clam chowder as an appitizer. The Corn chowder was probably the best soup I have ever had. Oysters were very tasty also. Bh had a small Filet, and I had the rib-eye, both were cooked exactly as requested and very flavorful, various sides - Loster mac n cheese, brussel sprouts (amazing) and grilled asparagus were all excellent. Could not complete more than half the bounty and had a woderful lunch the next day of the leftovers. Keep this in mind when you get your tab, and it is a it pricey, but well worth and you are actually paying for wo meals each with the large servings.

The "T-Room" has retained the look and feel of those oh so elegant restaurants of a bygone era - plush and comfortable without being "clubby". The dining rooms (two down and one up a short flight of stairs) say: "...Come and stay a while...". And why not?

Whenever we pass through St Louis we make sure to reserve an evening for the classic Tenderloin Room. Their steaks are consistently perfect. The wait staff is classy and personable. Spirits and Nick are both great. We love that they still bring a cart of the entire selection of appetizers right to your table and await your selection. The dessert menu includes two favorite classics as well: Cherries Jubilee and Bananas Foster. Both made at your table. We got both!If youâre unfamiliar with anything on the menu the wait staff is very helpful and want you to feel relaxed. If you need help with the wine selection they are there for you. They have thankfully not updated the decor or the menu. Even though there is no dress code have fun and not wear jeans. Compliment yourself and the staff by dressing with discernment.

This time everything went right- our coats were checked, we were greeted with Happy Anniversary, our waiter was knowledgeable and professional, we were served chocolate covered strawberries, rec'd a greeting card and a gift card to come back. Both the chicken and filet were outstanding as were the salads. The manager checked on us twice and seemed very sincere.
