The staff here are VERY nice, the were attentive and never left us having to ask for anything. We enjoyed the drinks. the bartender did not know how to make all my drinks however he was willing to ask and how and did an EXCELLENT job with everything he served. The food was great and everyone had something different on the menu. we all swapped food and everything was great

While this place is adorable and has a great atmosphere (seriously, it's possibly the cutest restaurant in Torreon), the three times I've eaten here, I've gotten a bit of food poisoning. I'm not sure what it is, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Ignore the 2x1 deal and find another Mexican restaurant.

My son and I were in town getting some much-needed repairs done in the middle of motorcycle tour of Northern Mexico. The local motorcycle shop owner of Mr. Motos Kawaski invited us to a late lunch - early supper. I am sure having a local with us made the entire experience even more special as he appeared to be well known by the restaurant owner. It was also happy hour, so a few beers later we still could not decide on what we really wanted to eat so the owner came over and suggested we eat family style and offered up a couple of dishes for us all to share. Frist up was a dish of 6 large cooked cheese ball that was excellent. Next up was large strips of steak cooked next to our table with Mezcal, and the chef ensures each person got their strips cooked to that persons' liking. All three of us are big guys and good eaters, and we each left full. The restaurant was not very busy yet and our service was excellent. After our meal, we also enjoyed a good selection of Mezcal during happy hour and saluted family and good friends before retiring for the evening. All and all a very enjoyable experience.

every time i go, i always suffer about the service is slow, or they dont five a damn about you because they have other costumers or either you are one or 2 in a table and if they might think you will not order more in a few words ignore you really... its the restaurant in Torreon where i felt very uncomfortable, and i rather go other places than be back. The music is great specially when is a group on wednesday thats the amazing thing.

We have been to the other Argentine restaurant (Garufa) several times before discovering this place. A friend and I went to check it out. It passed with flying colors although there was some confusion between their standard Spanish menu and the English version they gave me, but we got it worked out.We started with Argentine-style empanadas which were excellent. The menu has a Grandfather's Salad of spinach and shrimp that sounded good, so I ordered it. There was no warning on the menu about what it really is. It's huge, enough for four, and it took two waiters about 15 minutes to build it at the table. It's OMG good. I can't remember when I've had a salad this good.My friend was hoping for quail, but not available today, so he had a tender, juicy steak. I had baked shrimp in an Alfredo sauce with mushrooms and a few pieces of asparagus. Some pasta would have been nice. Both of our entrées came with fresh, tender asparagus with a drizzle of cheese sauce. So good!We were too full for dessert, very unusual for us. That salad was over the top. $1,068 pesos with tip and valet parking -- about $83 US dollars at today's exchange rate,

Let's start by saying the food is great. Period. This is the traditional brazilian style place with different swords going around from table to table, everything cooked to perfection. There isn't one dish that's not to be liked in their lineup. However, what really sets this place apart is the excellent service provided by their staff. Everybody is attentive and the crew really knows how to make you feel at home. The restaurant is brand new, so everything in the place looks great and works great. The ambience of Picanhas is also very high end, with a very "Steakhouse" feel, lots of wood everywhere, but still with a family twist to it, and a garden by the side in case you smoke. If you have kids they also have a play area with a few toys and small tables and chairs, nothing fancy, but it keeps kids busy. So, the bottom line...this new kid in town is definetely here to stay, with such high quality food and service! Try it!

We had a business meeting lunch at this restaurant. I have been going to this and the previous location for more than 20+years. The food and atmosphere is great as well as the service. The empanadas we ordered as appetizers are delicous. We all shared in a family type steak platter with various offerings including such as sirloin(churasco) and ribeye (bife).

Once again I visited for the beakfast buffet. I am glad I gave it a second chance. They have certainly improved their food quality. Their meat dishes are moist and tender. And although the selection continues to be small it has variety. Don´t expect pancakes or French Toast. No such thing at this Mexican buffet. Still, you have a long wait on Ãtems to order such as omellets. I still feel that the waiters have a ¨ - why bother with good service for no tip ¨ attitude. I tend to be generous even at buffet restaurants but I certainly did not go overboard with these guys. I also think that their prices are on the high side. Also, get there early. Breakfast is over at 12:00 PM and they mean it. They right away took all the sugar and breakfast Ãtems off the table while still siping my coffee...not cool.

Visited Steak Palenque during a business trip to Torreón. Very good service, good quality food, I had the rib eye, served with a baked potato and a mildly spicy pepper( chile guero); meat was good quality for the price you pay. If you visit after 7pm food and drinks are 2x1. Will definitely visit it again on my next trip to Torreón.

This brazilian restaurant has some amazing pieces if meat. You can have has much different type of meats as you desire and all are really well seasoned and cooked. The arranchera meat was one of my favorite. Be prepared to get out of the restaurant completely full. Enjoyed the place so much! Try the pineapple with cinnamon as well! Deserts looked good but did not try it! Restaurant highly recommanded.
