Arrived when the owner was extremely busy with serving steaks for dinner. Apperently the whole village had turned up for steak-night. (And they had all been there the day before as weel). Somehow the owner found time to clear out his garage for our motorcycles, show us our rooms (across the street from the restaurant), serve us two beers and still run the restaurant. We ate "John Wayne" steaks, which were great. The owner managed to talk to all of his guest and make everyone feel at home. The rooms were old, but clean, large and with a new and great bathroom. Our motorcycles were locked in the owners garage at night. Breakfast was good, and plenty of it. I would visit this place again

Wir waren hier für 3 Tage mit Freunden, wir hatten eine Suite, wunderbar und super eingerichtet, sauber, dem Hotel ist ein Steakhouse angeschlossen, dort wurde auch gefrühstückt, das Frühstück hervorragend, alles war vorhanden, was zu einem guten Frühstück gehört, die Steaks, Schnitzel abends, die Beilagen dazu einfach weit über hervorragend, das Ambiente, die Bedienung, der Chef grillte persönlich, der Sohn unwahrscheinlich nette Menschen.

We had a lovely evening outside with friends. I highly recommend the beef steak. Truly perfect! I tasted my husband's meal. I had the 'Duloc' or something like that pork steak that was also full of flavour. Stick to beer, since the wine selection is limited and very average. A lovely salad is complimentary to start the meal. Friendly service!

Excellent location on the old town. Beautiful historic building like a fairy tale. But inside atmosphere of fast food. Very slow service, average food. Big loss for the city and for all tourists.
