We came for lunch. They were extremely busy. At first they seemed dismissive. Once, we got going, the service did improve. The Entrecote was EXCELLENT, their tapas delicious, and their mixed salad, was not bad at all-especially compared to other restaurants in Soria. We would also recommend the cod dish and the foie gras tapa. Also, nice selection of wines. We did not have dessert. Note that they close for 10 straight days in early July-a day after their 6-day fiesta at the end of June.

We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon for a red wine and something tasty to snack on before we went to have lunch, and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the house broth, which was full bodied and tasty, not your typical watery beef broth. Then we ordered a clam croqueta that tasted like the sea.The owner recommended us a couple of regional wines and told us about the history of the restaurant and his family's other places in town. Nice guy!The next time we are back in Soria I will definitely go back and have something cooked wood oven, suckling pig or lamb, for example.Hi JimmismithThanks for your opinion. We are always ready to help visitors. Our wines and our "croqueta" are already international.A greeting and I hope you in your next visit to Soria

Admittedly, we went for lunch on what has probably been one of their busiest days this year with crowds of metropolitans from the capital swamping Soria for a long weekend. The place was packed, the service crew overstretched and sometimes lost, although striving to stay calm and in control. Signature dishes were not available. Our orders came late and cold. Not a good experience overall.
