Another amazing trip here, we come on special occasions and it was my birthday this visit to M&C in Rothley. Tye, was our waiter. He was brilliant. Could not fault the guy. He was very consistent throughout the whole visit. Not only was the restaurant slightly busy, but the food was amazing! Not waiting long, cooked to perfection. Having a medium rare steak seems to be an issue across any restaurant you go to. As always M&C provided. Huge thank you to Tye, and the chefs for making my birthday great! A good compact menu with endless soft drinks. Filling food, all cooked fresh, tasty deserts. Fair timing for the fresh food.Have an aperatif elsewhere before dining.

These guys are total amateurs, the steaks are 5mm thick, terribly seared and most importantly terrible quality meat. They also have the audacity to lie about the type of cuts they serve rather than what is ordered and paid for. I ordered a rib eye and was served a cut that was definitely not that but chewy barely fit for mincing for burgers.This experience was for all 6 of our family....and I wonât get started on the service either.I understand people making an effort to start a business but try and approach it from a place of honesty and integrity, further get some training before claiming you are a steak lounge....did mention I wonât get started in the service.Never again!!!Hi Farook.
