Traditional Greek family Fish Tavern Since 1955. We always offers fresh fish, traditional Greek cuisine recipes and homemade dishes, created always with the best and freshest local products everyday. Upon arrival at Maridas traditional seafood restaurant,
We decided to visit Marida after reading TA reviews and not disappoint. We had steamed mussels, octopus, calamari, fried vegetables some local beer and uzo. All were perfect. We are at Athens for couple of more days and we will visit again before our departure .

10 days in Greece, staying in Spata- near airport- we enjoyed this taverna in the beach side town of Artemida. Quick drive 15 minutes from Spata; park along the beach. They have a restaurant on either side of the road. Both are cute; better view on the beach, bathrooms across the road.Service friendly; food good and authentic; grilled chicken, fish, salad and some wine. Stroll outside along the coast or into town. Can't lose. You can't lose by going to Greece- what great people, food, and world class sites at reasonable prices!

We went here after an event with the family. The portions are insane. Excellent salads, bread, chips and tzaziki - problem is that you are full before any of the meat comes and much of it gets left in the table. lamb chops and lamb shanks were superb. Avoid Kokoretsi - itâs just not very nice no matter how well prepared. There is a carnival atmosphere on the little street as this huge place and the taverna opposite (also huge) vie for trade with some balloon sellers and honking cars thrown into the mix.Very enjoyable afternoon with the only detracting factor being the waste of food in the place. Plates of food left on tables afterwards which is a bit sad. Kalyvia tops for meat taverna though.
We dropped in and took out souvlakia for ourselves and the children on a very very busy August evening. Our souvlakia and french fries were delicious and the service was very fast and polite. If you want to grab a quick pita-souvlaki, this is a good choice in Porto Rafti.

Finally it happened a great new steakhouse has opened in Porto Rafti in the last month. The best steaks we've ever had in Greece, aged and prime cuts cooked to perfection. The appetizers all have a Turkish flair as evidenced by the name. The staff is caring and is trying to please everyone. Nikos is an absolutely wonderful host and we look forward to visiting again. We were there already twice in the last week. They have a good selection of local wines that will accommodate casual wine drinkers to sophisticated ones. They make a steak tartare dish, that is simply out of this world, it's that good. I really couldn't believe the taste of it. Funky Gourmet could serve the same dish and would be proud of it as well. Thanks to our dear friend Hara, who found us another great place. Last thing, the Tomahawk steak another absolute winner!Nikos, keep up the good work and we'll see you in September.

The restaurant is right at the entrance to the beach. We were served quickly. The food was excellent. They had fresh fish and mussels (which were very good), tasty zucchini balls etc. The owner was very nice, he gave us watermelon and spoiled the kids with ice cream. I would definitely recommend this restaurant after a day at the beach.

The setting is very simple, next to a popular beach. Most of the dishes were so spicy that couldn't be enjoyed really. Grilled squid was also hard to chew. Should improve their recipes.Dear customer ,Good evening ,First of all I'd like to thank you for visiting us, Secondly I 'like to thank you for being in trouble to write about us .We 're all expected to read something about the welcome drink and bite that we offer at once in the beginning for free and the desert at the end ,We 're all expexted to read about the big sizes of our portions lovely made from fresh, hight quality 's products of greek land and sea ,We 're all expected to read about the low prices you pay for these portions and the way we treat you not like a tourist with extra charges, but like everyone,We 're all expected you to ask for an unsalted portion or more as most of our dishes are preparing at the moment , We 're all expected you to ask for the reason that the fresh grilled squid was difficult in smash ,you may not used to eat the fresh option of it,We 're all expected you to say if you liked or not your choices of our menu at that specific moment, and everything was easy then. Our local restaurant is made with love to serve people from next door everyday . It's nice to feel comfortable, like being home.We 'd love to see you again and fill in all your expectations at your next trip in Greece. Sincerely MEÎÎÎÎÎÎ
