Went out for a relaxing steak dinner. My wife and I went to a chain steakhouse where we were seated. We waited for a waitress to get us water or something to drink. While we were waiting the staff bypassed us several times. After 20 minutes we got up and left. As we were leaving, we noticed Harold's Seltzer Steakhouse. We decided to go. We parked out front and went in. This was not a chain. This was very nice. The staff seated us immediately. Our waitress was so nice. Got drinks quickly while reading the menu. We ordered 1 meal of a ribeye steak and baked potato to share. The waitress brought the drinks, warm bread and butter, and water. We waited for our meal while relaxing and talking. Not too much longer, our steak and potato arrived. Two plates divided equally and cooked to order perfectly. The taste was mouthwatering delicious. It was great. I didn't feel rushed or ignored like in a chain restaurant. The food was great and the staff was super nice. The price was $$ and the service was 5 star. I will be back.Barry you captured the essence of what makes us different from 'the rest'-hence our motto "who does that?. Last month Sioux City Steakhouse posted an ad on Facebook for a Memorial Day picnic package for $69.99. This was to include 2 pounds of ribs, 2 pounds of pulled pork, 20 wings, two sides, 10 ears of corn and buns. Their ad claimed that this would feed 8-10 people. Having eaten there several times, brought friends and family from out of town and raved about their food repeatedly I was excited to take advantage of this offer. I happily invited four friends to help me celebrate. Without going into too much detail this meal was dreadful. The pulled pork appeared to have been in a water bath and had absolutely no flavor. The â10â ears of corn were 10 - three inch pieces. The ribs were dry. I emailed the restaurant the next day to let them know how disappointed I was. I have yet to hear back. Clearly they are not interested in maintaining their good customers. I will not be returning and will be telling anyone who asks about this experience. You totally dropped the ball!I apologize that you had such a bad experience with your to go meal. I wish you had called us to speak with someone and let us know. I don't know what happened to your email but we did not see it. Our cobs are only served at half size as a side. I'm surprised to hear the ribs were dry. Again, I'm really sorry this happened to you.

My cousins have been going to this restaurant for the last seven years. They have American and some chinese dishes. Their won ton soup was delicious. I had fried shrimp (12) which comes with choice of potato. Our cousin had sweet and sour chicken. There were many dinner choices for $7.99! Portions were very generous. Would go again.
