Not been for years but still has a good reputation in town. Old school decor, loud and lively Italian atmosphere just right for a Saturday night. Extensive menu. Good prompt friendly service but not rushed. Good quality food, good portions, value for money. What's not to love.

Welcome to The Plough Inn, Here we offer a great service with an extensive steakhouse menu, lunch menu and an early bird option and specials board and a wide range of locally brewed real ales.
My partner and I visited this evening and were pleasantly surprised. The pub is very traditional which is rare these days. The barmaid who I think is the landlady is very friendly and down to earth. A typical Yorkshire welcome awaited us. We both ordered a steak which was cooked to perfection, presented well and was exceptionally tasty. We would definitely recommend this pub to anyone wanting a decent steak. It makes a change in this day and age to actually eat a meal before having to give a table number and pay for it first. We will definitely be going again
